Jack is back! I love him and I hope he beats the c*** out that bastard SmokeyFlocke. This was a very sad episode!!!!

AHHH I don't even know where to start!!! This episode was AWSOME but so incredibly SAD!! I bawled my eyes out. This season has been amazing, which makes me think the finale is going to be really fantastic. I bet I'm gonna freak out... hahaha I get so involved. Anyway, it was good that Sayid did something "good" to everyone else, because I was sooo pissed off at him! Flocke is just creeepy. I just hope they don't kill off anyone else! But how the heck are they going to kill Flocke? arghh... I don't know what else to think  I just don't want it to end :(

OMG OMG OMG!

Last night's episode has me singing a different tune.

FREE FLOCKE/MIB!!!!! who cares about the island!

I'm gonna be honest- This weeks episode was such a letdown. Completely ruined the pace of the series after last weeks dramatic episode. If they had shown it earlier in the series then maybe I would have enjoyed it more. And the "Light" they introduced felt like such a cop out. How can you introduce something like that 3 eps from the end??

It was nice to get the back story of Jacob but from a story-telling point of view I felt disappointed. However I still hold high hopes for the rest of the series and pray to god it has a satisfactory ending!

^I agree. And the "flasbacks" of when Jack and Kate discovered Adam and Eve...are they gonna do that for every mystery that's being solved now? That would explain the finale being 2.5 hours long. It's like they've been puzzling us all these years and now they think we can't even put one and one together now that we finally get to see the things we've been talking about and making theories about for 5 years straight?

I did like the back story of Jacob and MIB though. But compared to last weeks episode this felt like a filler, which is a bit odd when there are only so few episodes left of a show.

Haha yeh the cuts to Kate and Jack were kind of insulting to our intelligence! Again I agree the back story was something that was definitely needed but the timing of the episode and execution left a lot to be desired.

This week's episode! I really liked it but I agree that it felt out of pace with the last few episodes - especially the last one.

But it was interesting to see where Jacob and the MIB came from. And the MIB has been made out to be the "bad guy" but in this episode it was Jacob and it really messed with the sense of good and bad on the island and the fallibility of people. Well, that's what I got from it, I never know if I'm on the right page with Lost!

And I like what the "mother" said about all her answers would lead to another question because that's how I feel about the show!

OMFG Holy sh*t Allison Janey. I can't believe she's on Lost. AWESOME. She is one of the best actresses ever. Seriously. That was awesome. Her casting = WIN.

Is the MIB really Jacobs bro or is he Smokey which really just evil. As in evil evil and that's why it can't get off the island cause the world would expload or something.

I'm so Lost (lol) now. I really don't know what the hell is going on. I know people hated the season 1 flashback but seriously we have been given so much info over the years and sorry to say but some of us (me) needed that.

I'm undecided on whether I liked this week's episode or not. I was kind of confused by the ending. Is Smokey just MIB's soul and he inhabited his own body because he can inhabit any dead body on the island? And does that mean at one point there was the skeleton of MIB's body as well as MIB's body inhabited by Smokey, like how there are 2 Locke's on the island (1 dead, 1 taken over by MIB?) And I still don't understand why this light or magnetic energy or whatever it is needs protecting. Maybe that will be better explained later. By the way, the whole cave of light thing is pretty hokey. I'm pretty sure the producers' have a big budget, they couldn't have spent a little more money on the special effects for that?

Who's seen it who's seen it?? I thought this episode set things up nicely for the 2.5 hour finale. And thank god the pace has picked back up after last weeks ep!
Widmores death was a bit sudden! And although Ben turned back to the dark side, I kinda liked it. Loving Desmond's work in the alt. timeline, now there's a man with a plan!!

Yes! Loved this weeks ep!
I'm still hoping that Ben somehow ends up looking after the island, he's got some sort of deep love affair with the place. Everyone else is like "eh, I could take it or leave it".
I hope they explain WHY there are parallel time lines. I find it interesting that everyone with a not so great parallel time line has ended up dying on the island.
And MIB was Jacobs twin brother...right?

I'm really confused about the parallel timeline - and was quite annoyed with it before this episode. Things are finally HAPPENING there as well, before it just felt like filler-scenes off the island kind of.

God I can't wait for the finale, even though it's so sad that it's ending! I also love how the show feels more "whole" now. Before, you could almost start wondering if the writers even had a plan, but with the whole "our very own adam and eve" thing and the black/white game it just seems like it's closing in and that there was a steady plan all along.

What's the deal with the polar bear though? Had the island moved far north or something and accidentally picked one up, or was it a project? Sorry if it had been solved, I pretty much didn't see the mess that was season 3...

btw: Weren't Rose and Bernard candidates? And where are they, I can't remember haha. But anyways, if Jacob's answer to Sawyer (that they all had ****ty lives pretty much) was true... idk R&B seemed pretty happy?

oh I loved it so much! but it really felt like it's coming to an end, almost like part 1 of the finale..I'm gonna be so depressed on Sunday!

Don't tell me. I'm part excited by this finale and depressed because this show is like no other.

^I know

Well, I LOVED this ep but I reaaally hope they won't kill anyone off in the finale (except MIB, he must die! hahaha) . Richard!!! But wait, he's immortal right?

The parallel timeline is so interesting.... I wonder what's going to happen, if that's going to continue as a reality or if it's going to cease to exist...

Arghhh I don't want the show to end! Maybe Jack will stay in the island all alone and make some other plane crash and it will start all over again! :p

But in Rose and Bernard's parallel lives Rose has terminal cancer. On the island she's better.

OMG I don't think I've ever been as excited over a TV show as I'm for the Lost final. I'm more excited than I was for Friends and Buffy and they are my fav shows.

Look at this cool fanmade promo

Pretty good.

Ahhh I have goosebumps. I actually cannot wait for this episode. Every wednesday or thursday I go on to the Entertainment Weekly website to read their recap because it's always so amazingly detailed and insightful.

I wonder when they're going to screen the final ep in Australia?
