Louis Vuitton F/W 2014.15 Paris

I am so excited for him! and the long wait was worth it! Nicolas Ghesquiere is back!!! that was an excellent collection debut for Vuitton.

*. The collection very ready-to-wear, I like that very much, but I also like something special from great designers and I missed it a little bit. The whole felt like the big sister of YSL by Slimane, more sophisticated. Love the leather dresses with the tweed below. Nicolas did a great job with his first collection for LV.

Good collection. Very cohesive & easy to wear. Was hoping for a bit more "wow" in some of the pieces, but otherwise I'm very impressed!

It is undoubtedly a great collection but is it strong enough? Wearable - yes, but it looks too much like the pre-fall and resort collections from LV. Or maybe I am just too used to Marc's obsession with a certain theme and costume-y approach to it.

I wasn't expecting anything, and I knew it wouldn't look like Marc's work, because well you just can't look like Marc's. Each season had a proper identity, every collection was outstanding. It's not the case of this one ... I could easily forget what I've just seen. I was just okay. Magdalena Jasek's look was great, although I don't like the fabric of the trousers. But I loved the bags, especially the cases, like little versions of the old trunks. Really cool !

I totally agree. It looks like a 'better' & 'classy' version of Saint Laurent. I liked some pieces. The bags were really nice. Happy that he's back in fashion!

It's a very strong debut. Probably works better as pre-fall collection again. But then again this is his first debut and probably he can find a right voice for an LV woman. The looks toward the end are very promising!!

Not impressed, reminds me too much of old JW Anderson and Miu Miu, though there are distinct Balenciaga-like exploration of textures, eg. those heavily textured skirts, mix of tween and patent leather. Perhaps I'm too used to the heftier versions by Sacai and older Balenciaga, Proenza Schouler, I find these tight, tiny versions rather tacky. Bags and shoes are great, as usual, and will sell, sell, sell.

I thought it was a solid debut. Enjoyed most of the collection!

Hmm I've been looking at the video again and I'm not as impressed as I first thought. Certainly wearable enough, but way too safe. But the collections certainly are a strong point.

Solid collection, such a great start. Effortlessly cool clothes without the gimmicks of a set or a theme.

Just absolutely chic, wearable and Parisian. The leather pieces are absolutely fabulous, girls will kill for those dresses and it still remained Ghesquiere through and through while doing Vuitton justice, he'll set the standard for Parisian fashion in the 21st century, so luxurious, chic and modern day. The bags were just fabulous too, I can't wait to get new wallet by Louis Vuitton under Ghesquiere's vision.

Absolutely loved the collection.
Great silhouettes, luxurious materials and gorgeous colours.
And also with that runway being toned down compared to previous seasons
Only thing to criticize was that the fit on a few of the models was a little off.
Amazing debut overall for Nicolas.

It's a decent start and it felt very Balenciaga-ish, but also a bit tame for Nicholas.

Finally a proper shoe! Im tired of seeing these ugly cluncky, fugly, brick-like things on runway! And those mini-trunk bags!

This!!! It might look a bit boring because it's too cohesive but some of these pieces as stand alone are just impeccable. The dresses, the silhouettes, the high waisted pants, the coats...... lord save me.
