I have a friend based here in Manila who sells Neverfull in Damier Canvas. She gets her stocks from Louis Vuitton Hawaii.

^ which ones? i would imagine at the LV store if they aren't runway exclusive as they don't sell anything out of their own boutiques and in-store counters...

Is LV still cheaper in Hong Kong like back in the days? Or has it changed now?

For all those with speedy 25, do you find it uncomfortable having to carry it in your hand all the time? Or do you stick it on ur shoulder sometimes?

the speedy 25 doesn't fit on the shoulders for 99% of the population. its a really comfty bag as long as you don't put too much things inside.

can somebody post any picture of LV VERNIS ROXBURY DRIVE? thank you

Hi
I am thinking about selling my LV speedy 40, And I have put it out for sale. I have been getting allot of messages about my bag not beeing auth, I posted picks of the bag in "is this bag auth tread" and I got as an respns that it was a real bag.
I am now wondering how i can explain this to byers. If i can`t prove that the bag is real i will never be able to sell it. I dont really know what to do.
Is i possible to take the bag with me to the LV store in Oslo and get it confirmed as a real bag, and get some sort of paper on it?
Have anyone of you guys done that?
Thank you: )

it's a vintage piece, made by the American "French Co.". and it looks more like a Keepall 45 to me than a Speedy 40.

^Agreed, it doesn't look like a Speedy.

Gloriaa - The French Company manufactured bags under a special license from Louis Vuitton from the mid-70's through the early 90's. They were made and sold in the US in stores like Saks and Neiman Marcus.

oh, and judging from the monogram placement, to the leather and the inside tag, i'm pretty sure it's authentic. you'd be better off keeping it.

Hi everyone,

My mom and I,did a big cleanning in her closet the other day,and she came across this Vintage Vuitton bags.We are thinking about selling it.It's a vintage Vuitton backpack actually that's in excellent state. But the zipper that's on the inside small clutch which is inside the bag, is broke.

So my first question is: what should I do with the zipper.Do you think it's better to find a way to repare it.That will probably coast me an arm and a leg, considering the fact that I will probably have to go to the Louis Vuitton store.Or should I try to sell it like this, with a broken zipper ?

And how much do you think I should ask for it.Honestly I would love to keep it,but I probably will if I can't get a good price for it.Because this bag is very cool.

Here are some pictures:

Thanks in advance for helping.

you could prob get maybe a fair bit for it - I guess depending on how picky the buyer is really Its not a huge huge thing but I know people who wouldnt buy for that reason...

I also posted this in the "Is this bag fake / authentic" forum... hope I am allowed to post it here too ; )

I recently bought a LV tote at an upscale thrift vintage store (not many designer items - but a few that were described in detail.

I was skeptical - because I am not a LV expert - but I can spot a bad knock of easily. I examined it inside and out - and determined it was real - because the quality seemed IMPECABLE (every stitch was in PERFECT condition and looked hand sewn - even though the bag was used). Also - it didn't seem like a model that is usually knocked off. All buttons etc. are stamped.

I asked if they were sure it was authentic - and the sales people said they were nearly 100% sure. They said that when they received designer items - they did their best to authenticate it. They said knock-offs come in regularly from donations - and they price those at next to nothing and put "knock off" on the label. Items deemed authentic are put in their high-end case (where this was). Also - one of their SAs used to work at Macys - IN handbags but not LV - and said she could tell. I trusted them that while they could not be 100% sure - everyone determindes it to be authentic.

I apologize about the quality of the photos - my camera broke =( so I had to take it on webcam. Let me know if you need clearer photos.

Thanks in advance!!!
