Louis Vuitton S/S 2017 by Bruce Weber

Why is Bruce Weber doing all the campaigns?

Weber needs to calm down, that versace mess was enough...

For the life of me I literally do not even remember what this collection even looked like.

I know Vuitton is big corporate, big money...but these campaigns are just not that interesting anymore. And clearly....neither are the collections.

These guys harp on and on about exclusivity, unique vision, and all that jazz, but they all book the same photographer, ultimately ending up with the same campaign mood???? Why not widen the pond and bring in Venetia Scott, Van Drimmelen, or Olins?

I feel sorry for Adele, this shouldn't be so dull because she's more suited to LV than Lèa and Alicia. Luckily Selena now defected to Coach, so we probably won't see her at LV anymore. But I expect Dianne, Natalie, and an Asian girl will follow in due course. That's how predictable it gets.

wow that is depressing, looks like someone coming back from a funeral with a broken heart and broken bag handle.

I love Nicolas, i Love Adele, i love the collection....BUT STOP WITH WEBER!!
I bet Demarchelier will shoot the other campaign....

The magic of those series quickly fade. It's not like the campaigns are bad...They are just not good enough for someone like Nicolas.

I think Adele is way too cheap for LV. And I hate the way the bag is showcased, it's always the same season after season, they really need to change that!

Can we all look at the bright side and be thankful it isn't Juergen Teller?

No! Bring back Teller! His very immediate social media look books changed the game!

Louis Vuitton bottled it.....

Can only echo everyone else's underwhelming sentiments here. Aside from the odd Spirit of Travel/handbag campaign which I've liked, Ghesquière has failed to deliver when it comes to the mainline campaigns. Always the same stuff just for a different season and so very frustrating at this stage.

Remember the good ol' days when Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott would photograph Louis Vuitton campaigns?

Yeah but they wouldn't work for LV nowadays.

I wish I&V or Karim Sadli would shoot the campaigns. Or even Hawkesworth. Or just Meisel, his LV were the best.

True, but in their current state of them I'd not suggest them at all. I think it's time Nicolas start building more stories around his campaigns. Something more in the vein of Gucci (and I don't mean quirk)

Oh no. Really LV? I miss the days (80s 90s early 00s) when Weber had still had his high fashion edge. The models always looked stunning and the images where vital alive and sexy. None of that has been present in his work for quite some time and this first Vuitton campaign shot is no different, muddled and murky. Come through Bruce.
