Louis Vuitton S/S 2017 by Bruce Weber

there is also Lady Jean Campbell in this campaign, according to another clip LV just released. Well, not surprised tho.

The fifth shot with the three girls, Michelle William's one and the last shot are the most unnecessary and ridiculous photos. I really do like the first one though !

Jennifer killed it. It just feels so lazy. I mean I get that Paris inspired the collection but these locations are like steps away from the atelier and the pictures are not really inspiring. But the clothes and bags look nice though.

It's good but with a collection inspired by Paris and the energy of the city in the 80's, shooting this at L'Ile Saint Louis is a bit...meh.
I feel like every fashion house has done a campaign there and even if it's a place that has a great history, shooting "les bords de Seine" doesn't really add anything to the subject.

It could have been great if they shot the campaign in the Rive Droite. They presented the collection in the Place Vendome so, why not go for it?!
Opera, Montmartre, Concorde, Rue Saint Honoré....etc. I mean there are so many great, energetic places in the Rive Droite that represents the collection that shooting this in a empty island with some bored girls, doing absolutely nothing is disappointing.

That last shot of the three girls standing is the best shot ever in any Ghesquiere/Vuitton campaign. It's flawless.

I think I'll agree with this. Perfect balance, great cast, Paris and the dress of the season as worn by Natalie, what else do you want?

The street shots are fantastic, I love them all. Jennifer looks amazing as usual.

Well, it's better than I anticipated. And some shots are nice and the clothes and accessories look attractive, but on the whole, I'm left wondering a bit what the message here is? What is Nicolas trying to say? What is LV trying to say?

I'd like to see fashion move a bit more into a new, more purposeful and intentional mode of thinking. There's too much stuff out there at this point for a creative director like Nicolas to not be giving us a story or concept. This whole sort of random assortment style of campaign and editorials we've seen for so long now feels stale and easy.

The Group shot of the five models is great an I like it more than the last campaigns but I have to say that it's still boring.

this is already my fave campaign this season  i love anything shot in paris, and this collection was one of his best for LV yet

So yet again, a very scattered campaign. You have the studio shots, some close-ups against a door, and street shots. Too much! Bruce Weber really needs to GO! He's conning all his clients with this multi-approach time. The collection actually looks great, but the photography ruins it.

I feel like they wanted to shot all the looks from the collection. At the end, it feels like more like a editorial than a campaign. Two or three photos from all of them would have been enough. The casting is a bit boring, i miss Liya.

There seem to be like 5 different campaigns here. So disjointed and random. No continuity whatsoever. Really don't get the thought process.

It's getting too much at this point. I'm only here for Jennifer's second shot.

Michelle has really nothing of a Ghesquiere woman. She looks kinda weak in those clothes...They are wearing her.
She belongs to the Dior ad.

Thank god for the bags shots and the fact that the collection was good because this is not impressive. It's like FW2007 Balenciaga= Good collection/unremarkable campaign.

It's a good campaign, at least for Louis Vuitton standards. Obviously the campaign can't compare to Balenciaga, although this collection definitely comes close. One of his best campaigns so far.
