Louis Vuitton S/S 2017 by Bruce Weber

Not bad overall imo but so far I prefer the still images
Michelle is the weakest link...

Badass campaign! I totally love it. Long live Bruce Weber! Unlike the critics of this forum, he has a great talent.

^Well, I agree he´s talented but none of the pics so far are distinctively "Bruce Weber" imo. There´s no whimsy whatsoever. These could be by an unknown photographer so in that sense I´d say that Weber as a photographer, failed. Or LV failed in using him.

i love these bags, hate this boring campaign. yo, i know bruce weber is a legend. but his work is coming out so flat this campaign season. I'm not into it. this, and then the versace campaign. what's going on? where's the glamour?

The campaign isn't that bad. I'm just really thankful Juergen wasn't involved.

Must confess that I am pleasantly surprised at how well this campaign has turned out, once the full campaign has surfaced and I've started to see it inside the magazines. The shots down by the river and the ones around Paris are rather beautiful.. completely to my taste and complement the Vuitton brand perfectly.

Who is the star of the campaign?

For me its Sora. She just has that goth look that compliments the garments so well. Also loving Mica and Natalie in the campaign.

That last shot of the three girls standing is the best shot ever in any Ghesquiere/Vuitton campaign. It's flawless.

So true, the more I think about it, the more I agree.

no elegance, no glamour. wish LV looked exciting again, not the same boring again and again
