Louise Trotter - Designer, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta

I actually wonder what’s going to happen with Bottega Veneta under Trotter’s direction. With Blazy, it was fairly easy to predict since he has always been obsessed with craftsmanship and couture silhouettes. Louise, on the other hand, is a skilled designer who is capable of working within different contexts quite well, but I’m pretty sure her Carven accessories wouldn’t appeal to BV’s customers—and that’s what sells the most at the brand. That said, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for her. At least it’s not an obvious choice, and it might turn out to be a wonderful journey.

another pseudo empty modern exercise vomit disguised as fashion i just went to see her work and ig because i never noticed her work before

i feel the whole slew of new fashion appointments became a long season of emily in paris with all these made up brands and creative directors as extra´s in a netflix tv show , where they just have to seamly look like something that resembles a real fashion brand or designers but can't be named in the show due to copyrights or whatever.

End of an era at Bottega.

I am sure she is a lovely and charming person, but Trotter's Carven looks like diluted Jil Sander by the Meier's, which itself was a diluted Old Celine. Confused as to how her appointment makes sense for a brand like Bottega Veneta?

Don't even get me started on her menswear "vision"...
You can bet it will be “dilluted” 🤣🤣🤣

I predict Marie-Adam Leenaert at Carven. Looking back at Trotter's last collection, it would seem to me as the most logical choice in terms of continuity

I went to have a look at her Ins account for the first time and her Carven just looks like another Philo brand! I guess they are going to revive Philo's Celine at BV.
Exactly. Just another Proenza Schouler copycat nothingness.
