Louise Trotter - Designer, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta

Julia Roberts getting no chill this press tour LOL
I don’t blame her, but maybe her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, should take her job more seriously — making her clients look GOOD instead of buying into some lukewarm ‘debut’ and letting someone like Youssef Marquis influence her into thinking it’s a big deal.

This part! Even with the JW Dior looks coming out it’s still the stylist thats deciding to put their clients in them. They are paid to advise and make those decisions a lot of times selling it to them. We can blame the designers for the ugly clothes but we should hold the styling teams accountable for them ending up on their clients.

I like the continentality of dressing Vicky again. She is an unusual choice. Not bad ~ I prefer this noir dress over Dior and Versace :poop: this week.

I agree. Vicky x Bottega is the kind of energy and aesthetic that I expected from Jonathan at Dior but alas he gave us nothing.

The only thing I hate when a CD arrives…The perspective of discontinued products. Now they are going to create a FOMO for no reason.

When reading some comments, one could expect a deluge when in fact, all I see is rather safe, well made classic stuff.
Bottega Veneta is in it essence classic and bourgeois.

It’s not really thrilling because I expected a lot more energy and it all feels very « solennel ».

I take Bottega Veneta in terms of pure fashion over Hermes. And Nadege’s only job is to make the clothes. She is neither responsible for the campaigns or even the shoes…And the result is so not my thing so…

She is too much focused on leather. She should relax go to Venice and discover Italian culture. For now, it looks like it's going to be a flop.
