Completely agree! I hope Eva is bringing some new and fresh ideas to Lucky. This cover is already better than the ones this magazine has seen in a while

I also agree! I recently subscribed to Lucky. I've never had a subscription to the magazine, but I'm just a big fan of Eva.

Also, I think this first issue looks pretty promising

Eva Mendes is on the cover of the October 2013 issue. Saw it at the newsstand. Really liked the cover. She's always very photogenic.

My impression of the first issue is that it's reminiscent of Vogue (the new contributors and advertisers are familiar), but on really crummy paper.

I don't see how Lucky will establish an identity on the stands if it just looks like a cheaper Vogue. People will just buy Vogue. I always thought Lucky featured more relateable actresses and models but if they're going in the same direction as Vogue with unattainable women and clothing I can see them alienating the few customers they have left.

Oh I think Eva looks stunning in the two photo's from the editorial. I really like the first photograph, she has a wonderful smile, the picture feels quite genuine. While Blake's cover was styled well enough I think I prefer seeing Eva on the cover, more of a fan of her work.

That's a nice editorial with Soo Joo Park- I've gotta give it up to Eva Chen- I feel like there is already more diversity in Lucky then their used to be. So YAY for that!
