I don't think I framed my comment properly. As an Oscar winner with as much "buzz" as she received, she'll be invited to everything. I just want to see her choose wisely, and not show up for the opening of an envelope. She definitely should build on her momentum, especially as a woman of color, even with a major award, her choices are still unfortunately limited. I would love for her next major role to be as important and well received as "12 years," and would be thrilled if she lands a few major magazine covers, like Vogue. Knowing how the public can turn on celebs on a dime, I don't wish that for her.

whaaaaat? Jared an attention wh*re??? sooo not true! he's the it guy at the moment, thanks to DBC but also, he's very successful with his band. he really doesn't need any more attention, he's getting more than enough. :cool:

btw Lupita follows Him (he's not following her) on IG and is posting all these tease-pics with them 2, Jared is always a gentleman and would never use anyone like that. :angry::lol:

I remember a blind from some years ago that people guessed was about Jared, he was flaunting his name to get in the VIP section of a club. And at the Oscars with the selfie, he was sitting on the other side of Meryl Streep so he had to run to get in that pic, that sorta stuff... anyway it´s just my impression of him ^_^

that blind item :blink: doesn't sound like J at all. anyone who follows him more closely can tell you the same thing. he's really down to earth and isn't really trying to be 'up there'. he made a few comments on the selfie and it was funny, he likes those sort of things but not to get attention, he just thought it was funny and wanted to be a part of it, and btw why not, he was a nominee, the winner in the end, so he had every right to be in it. :blush::cool: I'm following him for 2 years now and everything he ever said or did was always honest and cute, never 'oh look at me', I really see him as a genuine & good-hearted guy. :flower:

^ I've heard some shady things about Leto so I'm not enthused about the fact that she seems to have bonded with him the most out of all her fellow nominees. The Terry connection doesn't endear him to me either.

But I am with everyone else on T.R. .... not a fan.:rolleyes: I don't like his work or his persona. And yet so many stars like and/or work with him; from Beyonce, to Chloe Sevigny, to Kate Moss, to Jennifer Anitson... etc. weird.

While he has cleaned up his act, I still find him to have no talent. Any college photography student could do his work, he just has a bigger clientèle to brag about.
 
Totally agree with everyone on Terry the perv subject ahah I have nooo idea what Jared, Lupita and Elle Fanning (and Prada!) do with him (and all the other celebs), I can only understand it if he's (T) being 'different' with guy friends (or celeb friends), maybe they get along well but he's such a creep. So yeah, except that, Jared is totally a nice dude. Don't remember any single thing that can assure me he's not. I've seen the documentary Artifact and anyone who sees it will like him even better. It's like, people have these ideas about people they don't know and don't even try to learn better. Now back to Lupita... didn't want to make this into a J thread. Sorry folks! Love Lupita so much! She's so well spoken and elegant!

I think Terry is a creep with only unknown models who dont have a big chance of making it big... I dont think he'd dare act like that with celebs. I also think that celebs are unaware of his behavior, cause it's never been reported by any major media outlet, has it?
Does Lupita have twitter? someone should let her know a thing or two about Terry...
 
exactly, I cannot believe all these celebs hang with him sooner or later. it's such a bad publicity. I guess they've never seen a certain collection of his pics or heard stories... but then again, he always says he works with models over 18 and that it's their choice, he's somewhat right, you can't be forced into anything you don't want to do, but he sure can't say he's not abusing his position/power in fashion and sweet talks/tricks these girls into getting naked coz it'll be fuuun and he'll make them look cool. creep.
