Love the whole ensemble, from the Nina Simone hairstyling (props to Larry Sims), to the motif-inspired Elie Saab gown, and the accessories - jewellery et al) and her make-up: simply flawless.

I've noticed that she doesn't wear necklaces on the r/c (although she does in candid pictures). I kinda like that actually. She's just such a fashion darling and just how stunningly beautiful did she look.

No, she doesn't have a contract with Elie Saab, but after seeing the comments on ES's IG account, I'd think they should consider her as a potential client in the future.

She wore G Valli for the GGs.

She currently has contracts with Miu Miu, and LancomeUSA

Love the way they styled her hair and the makeup is on point like always but those dresses are such a joke. Serisouly she was the red carpet star last year and yet she has to wear those crappy Elie Saab dresses. What the hell is her stylist doing ?!

I'm still hoping for an amazing look at the Oscars but I think Prada will dress Rosamund this year and Lupita will be in custom Miu Miu. Though I'm not even sure she's still a Miucca's favourite at this point.

I continue to like these dresses ... who cares that they're Elie Saab. And I suspect she and her stylist thought the same.

No, it was a one off campaign. I was wrong. It'll be interesting to see which designer she chooses to wear for the Oscars. I'm willing to bet it'll be a gown (with bold colours), much like the G Valli / Elie Saab mould. Given the difference in style and colours of what Lupita wore last year and this year, I get the inking that Lupita's delibertately steering herself away from being labelled a fashionista and hence is opting for less structured gowns.
