Mad Men

This show is getting dark, or darker than it was. Don is going in a downward spiral, Roger, the weird neighbour kid is back, Peggy and his fiancee, Freddy Rumsen thelephone conversations... Spooky.....Good spooky.

I just love this show.

i love it too.. i thought maybe it would be less enthralling with don and betty not being together, because they defined the show for me, but so far i am just as captivated..

and that neighbour child....

The dialog between him and the little girl gave me the creeps. The boy is so well cast for the part, his eyes, his intensness. Even the kids in the show are great actors. The interaction between the two kids was just superb, and it´s only begun.

I just love how some things in the show are not said, but rather conveyed as an atmosphere, some heavy air hanging over the characters....

The neighbor kid just creeps me out. I know his intentions are good but  . Peggy's storylines are always so dramatic. I hate to see Don in this spiral but everything that he's done he has done to himself. I wonder since they are bringing all these old characters back if Salvatore has a chance? :innocent:

i don't miss salvatore at all..

peggy is actually starting to annoy me.. and i agree about the child actors being amazing - actually i am most impressed with Sally, last season i found her sort of dull but she has really improved, maybe with age and confidence or perhaps because they are actually giving her something of her own to do this season.. but even with the few interactions with the creepy neighbour boy and her scenes after that, i think she is displaying amazing complexity for someone so young - i'm really impressed.. she is so beautiful too. like a little January.

^ he became boring - they just bored his character out :S

I know I am years behind, but I am going to start watching the first season soon. Hopefully I can catch up to the new season by September. Thats if I enjoy this series.

Joan episode! Yesss! The scene where her husband patches her up was touching, glad to see another side to him. Jon is such a good actor! When he was saying goodbye to Anna, we almost got tears, real tears!  Pete episode next week though. Did anyone else think that Anna's niece looked a bit like Frida Giannini?

Love Mad Men, this new season is so fresh!
I really love Anna, i'm sorry for her, this relationship with Don is really cute.
Joan, i don't know waht is she doing with that assh*le!!
And poor Lane...
This is the best season for now!

i was a bit confused when don/dick told Anna that he didn't tell betty.. what, about her?

great episode.. it makes me so happy that this show is on television and so consistently good

Loved the Joan episode, she just gets more stunning the more you see of her. Pete is too boring for any air time. :p

That's what I thought. I don't remember Don/Dick mentioning to Betty that Don Draper had a wife that he met, had a relation with and took care of.

This was the best episode of the season. Real tight. Just the right amount of drama, storyline, comedy, etc. The ending was priceless.

^ I agree! I thought last week's episode was the best but this week it's even better :woot: The best scene for me is Allison - Don in his office :o

Poor Alisson, she is really mad!
lol
Peggy, poor girl, but love her.
Kenny!! Hope to see more of the guys!
I missed Betty, especially now that she is a totally b*tch!
