The last episode was good, the girl who plays Don & Betty's daughter is amazing actress.. it's slightly scary how good of a child actor she is.

I know -- especially the ~ehem~ part. Her expression was priceless

My favourite scene from Sunday's episode was the shot of Peggy riding the red motorcycle around the empty studio. I could watch it over and over again.

I just love how beautifully executed this show is.

And Sally wow. She is outshining some of the adults.

Yes! The scene with the red motorcycle is great. So odd prissy Peggy riding the bike in circles like a little kid. Great episode, loved all the tension building between Betty and Don.

I kept thinking....I know kids act in small pieces, and they do not understand the "issue" treated (when sexual or violent) for acting purposes. But anyhow how can a kid consent to do a scene like that (or parents for that matter)? If they cannot tell the kid what the scene is about, how can he (or she) accept to do it?
Won´t she regret it later when she´s older?

I´m not critizising, I love the show and I think the issue was treated very well, but when I see kids playing such risky roles I can´t help but think....who decides on this? The kid? Their parents?

Something´s wrong with Sterling...I wonder what it is....he is like crumbling...

I know they do take special care...but it´s a risky move even for an adult actor. I also thought the same about the kids in Weeds....they are involved in preety racy subjects.

If they could bottle "don-ness", they could make millions. So insanely sexy.

i don't know why but i loved the part where one by one, roger and then don grabbed joanie's hands under the table..

Peggy is starting to get annoying. It's like she needs someone to tell her how great she is every 5 seconds and Don's not going to give her that. But I did feel bad for her when it was her ad/idea that won them that award and she wasn't there. The bit with her and the sexist creative guy was funny.
Am I the only one getting a weird vibe from Joan and Don? Like when they kissed and then when that random lady asked her if Don was taken it seemed like there might be something more there, coming from Joan's side. I would think Joan would know better than to fall for someone like Don.
I need more Betty hair moments! Her hair has just been looking so good lately.

I'm with you diorelle...i picked up on something between don and joan too...and even worse, i am actually hoping for something.. i get the feeling that if anything happens between them it will be because they feel they truly 'know' each other.. you know, joan watches these girls come in and out of don's life for yrs.. watches his marriage fall apart.. she's sort of the constant, the one who really gets it.. i know it's probably a disaster waiting to happen, but i'm sort of naive like that..

I have just started to watch the series with a friend. I love Joan.
I think Pete is really hot, but I didn't know he could be such an *******.
SPOILER:
When he asked his wife to get his story published, and she went to her friend who wanted to sleep with her, Pete was so relentless and cold.

I love that the characters are so real. Everyone's true colors are on display, and as odd as it is to see the secrets up-close, it is really interesting.

Sorry my sentence structure is crazy, I'm tired.

Yesterday's episode was sooooo good! So many beautiful Edward Hopper-esque moments. I'm glad Don and Peggy finally let it all out, you can tell they really respect each other. When Jon starts sobbing towards the end how is he always passed up for the Emmy?

Aww, thanks for posting that recent on-set pic! I would look up the rest of those photos but I fear spoilers (I believe they're filming the last episode now).

In the beginning of this season I really felt Peggy's smugness and confidence was totally out of place for her (where the hell did it come from all of a sudden?). But then I realized that it's perfectly plausible as she ascended the corporate ladder rather quickly. She's the most successful woman in that office.

That's what I love about Mad Men, the characters are realistic in that they are constantly evolving...for better or worse.
