This makes us very sad.As Madonna gets ready to kick *** at the Grammys next week and announce plans for a summer tour, tongues can not stop wagging that she and her hot husband, Guy, are heading for a divorce, as we first reported last week.
Insiders say the couple are at odds over issues from work to kabbalah, according to the new issue of Life & Style magazine.
"They've done their best to hold the marriage together," says a friend of Guy's. "They're good parents putting on a show of affection for their kids [Lourdes, 9, and Rocco, ] - and for their image."
The once lovey dovey couple - who even made the big mistake of working together - now is beset by a "nasty, bickering cold war between two very vain people," adds the friend.
Among their problems: Guy blames her for his stalled movie-directing career.
What else is tearing them apart? Madonna considers herself more spiritually enlightened than Guy and Krappalah may be doing more harm for their marriage than good.
Each is reluctant to initiate the split, but insiders expect it to happen this summer. "Neither wants to be painted as the loser in love," the friend says.
We hope these rumors turn out to be false, but old sayings are usually true. Where there's smoke, there's fire!
Single or not, we're still burning up for Madonna's love and we will always have a physical attraction for her!

Whispers of strain in the Madonna / Guy Ritchie marriage have grown to a deafening roar with not one but two new (separate) reports popping up in the last 24 hours.
Madonna's workload has put a "huge strain" on her marriage, an aide to the couple told Sunday's Daily Mirror.
Madonna has spent more time with record producer Stuart Price than her family, the aide said.
"It is fair to say their relationship has been under huge strain because of Madonna's excessive workload recently," the unidentified employee told the Mirror. "She has thrown herself 100 percent into promoting her album and has little time left to spend with Guy."
Madge's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has downplayed any reports of a rift in the Material Girl's marriage.
"Her relationship with Guy is quite good, they're quite happy," she said. "They're certainly not estranged."

Really? Hmmm. Then why is Madonna looking for a new home in the New York area?
A friend of the star tells British newspaper the Mail On Sunday, "She's thinking it might be time to come home. It's not too far from Manhattan, but far enough to be a haven of peace for her and her son Rocco and daughter Lourdes. Madonna has told family members she's homesick."

MADONNA has furiously denied reports her close relationship with producer STUART PRICE is threatening her marriage to GUY RITCHIE.
British newspaper The Daily Mirror, today (03FEB06) claimed Madge spends all her available time with the 28-year-old musician - despite work on their project album CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR having long finished.
A source tells the tabloid,

"It’s no secret that Madonna and Stuart have developed a special working relationship. They enjoy each other’s company and respect each other. She confides in him and regards him as one of the most important people in her life."

Madonna’s publicist LIZ ROSENBERG insists Madonna has only sisterly feelings towards her young colleague.
She says,

"There’s no strain in Madonna’s marriage. Her relationship with Guy is good. They are happy. "She treats him (Price) like a little brother. They have fun and talk a lot."
