Maison Martin Margiela Mens F/W 13.14 Paris

like a really bad mountain man look. playing too much on current menswear trends i think. not what you expect to see from MMM. regardless i do kind of like those leather ponchos.

It's incredibly depressing how predictable this collection was going to be, and the patchwork looks are beginning to get repetitive.

This show was the last collection designing by Gregory BROOKS. He was hired by Martin Margiela himself to work on Menswear Lines 10 and 14 in 2005.

that's why i feel right now there's a lot going on behind the scenes particularly with the people running the business aspects of it. it probably explains the lack of imagination and thoughtfulness we've been seeing for a few season.

well, probably more will be revealed when goods hit the shelf. According to Tim Blanks' review on style.com, the first look of suits, plain as it may seem like from the show photo, is actually a jumpsuit. Hopefully more gimmicks will show off when we see them in store this fall.

i digress but did they promote gregory brooks at some point, because i remember sebastien meunier had been appointed head designer of the 10 collection from the 6 collection in 2005 and had worked there till 2010 when he took over design for ann demeulemeester's menswear?

I think the suits are jumpsuits. If you look closely at the wearers right side (looks one and two), it's actually one long panel, with the wearers left being the part that buttons, of which you would step into.
