I actually don't like Manolos that much, most of their heels aren't high enough for me, I prefer Christian Louboutin or YSL.

I found these Manolos at saks outlet and fell obsessively in love! Unfortunately I had to turn them down because I didn't have any money. I can't stop thinking about myself in them. I'm thinking of going back this weekend to buy them (if they are still there...) even though it's 2 hours away!

Does any one recognize this pair? I should have written down the box info

Blahnik's shoes have a proportion that you will not in any other shoe.
Not even in Louboutin. You can see that in the second picture of #50 where you have a pair of Blahnik and a pair of Atwood.

Yes he is very different from Louboutin and Atwood. Maybe a bit closer to Jimmy Choo. I read in an interview that he never liked platforms and he will never make any.

That's true. Here's how he puts it in NYT:

''But Mr. Blahnik said he cannot account for the tastes of his customers, especially given the general direction of footwear design. He is particularly appalled by the popularity of platforms.
“I’ve never seen such ugly shoes in my life,” he said. “I thought they were démodé in the 1980s. They are getting absolutely funkier and horrid now. I don’t do shoes for fashion, really. I do what I want to do.” ''

I personally agree with him and that's why I like his shoes so much.
