i love the mix of plaids, stripes, bowler hats and layers. i almost prefer this collection to his mainline this season. it's like the rag-a-muffin version of his spring 09 MJ line

The is has a rather British countryside feel to it to me. Highlighted by what I think may be patches on the kness of the leggings/tights? I may be wrong though. I really love this whole collection.

I'm not totally smitten, but there are a lot of great pieces & the palette is really

the shoes and stripey tights are pretty horrible but i do like some of the coats. i much prefer the mainline collection this season

This collection is definitely more "classic Marc Jacobs" than the main line this season. It's very quirky and everything looks just a little bit off, but enough to be interesting. Marc's designs sometimes take a while to grow on me and I think this will be one of those times.
