Well, this campaign is sure to stop from you turning the page and catch your attention. I don't think it's digusting, it's just silly. Clearly, Marc doesn't care about using his campaigns to sell, at least not this one. It's more of a manifesto of what he maybe obsessing over at the moment. He probably knows he has enough clienteles to use his campaigns as another form of 'creative outlet'.
Helena is such a Marc Jacobs woman, i don't understand why they've never thought of getting her before, she fits the bill for Marc's playfully odd aesthetic. she even manages to make me stomach Teller's crass photography. excellent choice, i can't wait to see the rest of the shots for this one
OMG, reading the MJ thread is scaring me ! One pic is horrible than the next, these better be just test shots. I'm not heading to town with those shot up in huge poster !
The collection was based on Asylum Patients so i think the twisted vision for the campaign is perfect, Teller for once in his career has managed to do a decent job with his lackluster aesthetic.
