Wow.

I never, ever, EVER thought I would say this in my entire life, but...

I love this. I love a Marc Jacobs collection.

For the first time ever, I'm buying what he's selling. It's certainly still got that quirky edge to it, but it isn't ugly on purpose like his RTW collections almost always are. And it's certainly the best sixties St. Tropez inspiration I've seen... well, maybe ever. I think it's fantastic.

come one? he's going back to his roots, but instead of looking like home-sew, it's polished and tailored. he did dresses like this very early in his career, the piping outlines and pocket contrasts....only now they look less like he took them from an ill-fitting vintage rack, and instead took the aestheitc and made it tailored and modern and chic. i think this might be my most favorite resort collection from him EVER

although this has Marc all over it, i like that hes taken a new route from the grunge kind of look he did.
i love the color pallet, it is overall very preppy and sweet, the only thing that i dislike is the frills on some of the edges of the jackets.
and this pretty sweetness has echoed on to his Louis Vuitton collection, maybe we will be seeing more of this for spring summer 2011 ?
