Marc Jacobs S/S 2009 : Raquel Zimmerman by Juergen Teller

What a letdown....With that mirrored runway I was really expecting something in that category. Sleek and sharp, maybe litteraly with mirrors.

yes, that would have been very interesting...
i'm just happy it's not typical teller/jacobs ads from the past few seasons; ie, white background (posh spice), too far away (f/w 07.08) or black background (f/w 08.09)...

it reminds me of the early marc ads, with sofia coppola...i like the softness of it...

thanks for posting luxx...:heart::heart:

Yeahh! Absolutely simple and amazing!!

I like it and it's so much better than last marc's ads...!!!

^_^
collection: Perfection.
Raquel: Perfection.
Ad: since it was Venice... I was specting a gondola!

Generally, I like it, can´t wait for more!

Well I like it. I wasn't expecting a lot, but it is great because it shows the clothes, that are fantastic. Marc Jacobs S/S 09 was my favorite. Raquel is also looking pretty.

It's definitely a stand out from the rest. I like it. The setting fits the clothes.

Agreed. It's not perfect, and it doesn't exactly go with the theme of the collection, but at least it's different.

I think this is a step in the right direction for Marc. His show was a big improvement from previous seasons, and this ad is an improvement as well.

They canceled Ryan McGinley?

That's SO beautiful, btw!

Wow.. I'm impressed  ... the scenery is just incredible, it kind of changes the context of the collection for me as I found it visually desperate.. I love how the entire image is equally saturated with textures and, 'dry' for summer, very Southern.. big thumbs up

This is good, I like it! Especially the nature background.

agreed. this collection was one of the s/s 2009 collections that most caught my attention, really. it definitely surprised me, and i loved it, but i wasn't expecting such a nice ad, because, well... thinking of the recent ones with posh and cole, i was expecting something silly in that way, especially because i reeeally dislike raquel. fortunately it turned out to be much better...
