Marc Jacobs S/S 2009 : Raquel Zimmerman by Juergen Teller

I like it but there is never surprise with Marc Jacobs campaigns.. I mean its very clear that this IS a Marc Jacobs ad.. but it's not like incredible. Though I am happy he has gone back to putting models in his campaigns...

I LOVE this!! I agree with the sentiments that this campaign echoes Marc Jacobs' earlier campaigns with its softness.

I like the general aesthetic of this. It's very soft and nonchalant. The mirrors would have been too cliche and too hard-edged. I feel like the trees create a certain harmony with the clothes, no?

^Um, I definitely agree with you. I prefer this folksy-edged campaign, as compared to the robotic-ness/sleek runway show.

Not what I expected at all. But it looks good.

Not impressed at all. Teller is hideously overated, even though I 'get' some of his work, this looks like a photograph someone might have taken when they were at college. ( No disrespect to anyone taking photography class right now).;)

i loves this ads, not that so bad. it's just different. eventhough the yard/garden concept is not suit with the colection.

I am sure i am gonna like it more when i see more of it because i love outdoor shots

Wow this is a suprise I usually never like Marc JAcobs ads, but this one is great, you get to see the clothes and the backround is lovely:heart:, very different for him:D

This is fantastic, and i despise Teller's work, but i think its very well done.

It looks like my grandma's back yard except Raquel wearing Marc Jacobs.

I like this. Though I have to disagree with some of you and say this is very typical Teller. Nature has always been a big theme in his early editorials in the 90's and it looks like he's just going back to his roots.
