does this remind anyone else of Prada? Marni's giving Miuccia a run for her money...I bout a couple of peices for the first time this fall and I swear, it just keeps getting better...

Consuelo Castiglioni,I think,gives everybody a run for their money in Milan. I don't know about the Prada association(I don't see it somehow??) as she's always been one to have this sort of pseudo-classical combination bohemian style. The only difference,its not quite as literal;its original,creative and expressive. And all totally wearable.

Marni. Don't really see similarities with Prada, may be just overall mood. But Castiglioni always ahead of the pack! When she just started out, her collections seemed kind of out of place next to all that Milano glam. But now others are catching up all over the world...

that's what i think too-she's always done this-it's just that others are now jumping on the bandwagon...i, for one, am glad to see it...

i completely agree...marni was ahead of her time and the trends finally caught up with her. i'd like to see her take another step forward.

ditto guys.. she's been way ahead of her time,
i'd say Consuello inspired Miuccia Prada than vice versa..

havent seen the new collection yet but from few pieces here and there,
i'm not sure if Marni is still out there leading the pack and this can make me real sad.
of course i need a closer look
