What do you guys think of Matt & Nat bags? I've started seeing them in all the stores I go into, and I think this one was referenced in the April issue of Elle Canada. (They come out of Montreal, QC).

My good friend works for them. They're vegan so all of their bags are canvas or synthetic leather.

I like the one in the picture you posted. I wonder if they still sell at Les Ailes de la Mode

i love matt & nat handbags. i have 3 of them. ^_^ but the only store i've ever seen them is TJMaxx.

I love those bags! Two of my friends have them and they are very well made.

just had a chance to see these bags this weekend and I was very impressed with design and the quality. In my search for a black bag this company is high on the list.

really? I've never been a fan of their design at all. i associate them with being cheaper bags mostly because of the stores i see them at and I see a lot of college students carrying these bags. Just not my cup of tea personally but it's good that they produce vegan bags.

i kinda like this one... i can't found it on the site though

I've been to a bunch of their sample sales and gotten some really cute clutches mostly. I've also seen them at TJ Maxx in the States. Very good quality stuff!

I'm definitely intending on getting one too...the bags look cute and it is hard sometimes to find really good vegan bags (because I do not compromise on the leather/suede/etc thing).

For people who have the bags, how do you find the quality? Do they hold up well? Am looking to purchase one but would love to hear some more feedback! :) TIA!

i like the clutch too. i saw it on the website this week. i wish i liked more of their stuff because it seems like they're the only ones making a chic line of cruelty free accessories besides stella mccartney.

That first one looks like an apartment block, but I love the third one in the bowler shape.

bumping this thread!
Matt&Nat are having a sample sale next week! If they haven't changed their prices, then wallets should be 10$-20$, and handbags between 40$-60$. I'm hoping to finally get my hands on that clutch *crosses fingers*

Matt & Nat

Montreal based vegan handbag brand. A local hit.

Finally, there is a compromise for anyone who is vegan and who also enjoys the look of a nice leather purse : it's called Matt & Nat. The Montreal-based brand offers a large variety of purses, wallets, and bags, all with style - and a conscience.

For the past couple years, Matt & Nat has grown from a local Montreal brand to an internationally respected and void of animal-by-products brand. The Matt & Nat style has also developed over the years. It combines mainstream fashion with underground inspirations - most purses are named after places, movies or bands. (Radiohead, Trainspotting, Interpol, etc)
