McQueen Comments on Celebrity Designers

one of my pet peeves, "people that state the obvious". I know that people dont expect that Jlo,or jessica simpson, or P diddy or any celebrity will come up with the detail or workmanship that McQueen demands, there are many famous designers that can't hold a flame to him, i think he may be just at a loss of words...

I like to think he was referring to the problem beyond just celebrity lines. I am hoping he was (subtextually, so as not to offend his colleagues) referring to designers like Marc Jacobs who turn on their background and buy into the celebrity myth because it become evident that they lack the talent.
