She wouldn't make any sense for the June China issue. Perhaps she'll get another month if this rumour is for VI? If not for Vogue Italia, then it has to be British Vogue or Vogue Paris. It's the only other blue chip titles I can think of. British Vogue seems more likely. I swear, I cannot wait for the day we'll all be rid of these wretched Kardashians.

Re these rumours about Meisel leaving VI, I might actually welcome this. If they let him shoot March and September each year, maybe even Jan, it could be a great arrangement.

If the Meisel rumors are true, then it's a bittersweet moment. It's sad that after 27 years, he's leaving VI but it's also really exciting to see what VI would become in the hands of a new staple photographer or in the hands of multiple photographers month after month. This is the change I'd like to see. If true, I'd definitely miss Meisel, BUT I hope the photographer/s that replace him is not someone who to some extent has similar aesthetics. If Meisel is leaving then I'd like to see change in VI, but if he's leaving and some knock off photographer would take over and produce the same quality then I'd be disappointed. I want to see change.

Anyway, should there be a replacement please let it not be Sgura and Testino. Please.

As for Kim, I wish she's not the cover star of Meisel's last issue for VI. :-(

It must be this, and its Kim! It can only be her, she shot in LA with Pat! Sigh! I really hope its not the end of Meisel shooting their covers, in good or bad, i grew up with his VI cover sotries! Imagine if Steven ended his Iconic connection to VI, because of someone like KK?!!! But sadly i can see it happening, its the world we live in at the moment. Fashion has never been less exciting.

If Vogue Italia were to do a Kim Kardashian spread by Meisel then I'd want it to be OTT! Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele on styling duties - the LOT. Italian Vogue's been a little stale these past few months, even with models, so I'm certainly optimistic about the idea.

Personally, I don't think Steven Meisel would leave because of Kim Kardashian. Meisel used to adore modern pop culture. He done the Hollywood story with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and done that story themed around Twitter.

Really?? But that's crazy. I cannot even begin to imagine Kim for VI because she doesn't make any sense at all. VI isnt overfond of celebrities and when they do it makes sense to some extent (Mia Goth/Isabella R). I wonder, does that mean Meisel actually shot the cover?
