Melania Trump

I love the idea of it, the vaguely 60s shape and the powder blue, but the fit is just too off. Could've been an iconic look if executed correctly.

As far as fit goes, it is quite possible she is wearing a bullet proof vest underneath like Michelle did in 2009.

The dress she wore for the first dance was simply breathtaking. Fashion needs new excitement. I'm looking forward to her elegance in the coming years!

I will just say it aloud without considering all the PC BS.

She beats Michelle Obama by miles. No contest. People should stop kidding themselves. Don't mix political views with aesthetics.

matter of taste.. so no "you're kidding yourself", some people are just not into the Atlantic City aesthetic. I'd rather see Dries Van Noten (always and anywhere) and frankly see it on someone who can carry it well and not like she was picked up from a 1-800-horny-babes hotline, showered and botoxed and inserted into a "now I'm rich" getup.

***Edited*** Ditto. ^

Another home run in that white gown. What a vision.

And I agree that the fit of that blue dress is spot on.

Mrs. Trump's RL suit for the Inauguration is certainly a none too subtle nod to Mrs. Jackie Kennedy in the days before the civil rights act of 1964. While it is a lovely suit it is meant to send a message.

I agree. The White gown was spectacular as well.

And I agree to whoever said that politics may be mixed with aesthetic view here. If you put aside who her husband is and just judge her based on her looks and fashion sense and the way she carries herself, i think many people' s opinions may be different.
I like how she doesn't try to take the spotlight away from her husband, where mNy would do. She is there, but she isn't. She is not ' in your face', she is like an ornament next to him, which is what a First Lady should be imo. Not too distracting from the preseident.

Absolutely breathtaking. Agree with previous posters about fit being perfect. Also am excited to see her upcoming fashion choices. A true beauty both inside and out. Agree, not showy, happy to be in the background.

Absolutely incredible in both looks. I really don't mind the comparison with Jackie, she pulled it off with grace and class.
I have no doubt she will be a huge success in the White House.

i don't agree that any woman should be an ornament in this country or anywhere else, for that matter...

shocking statement...

anyway- i don't care for the rich b*tch look, myself...
too much like a high priced wh*re...
but i like that shade of blue...and it looks like some really nice cashmere...
of course, no one's ever heard of that pierre guy...

what i can't stand is how tightly her face is pulled...
she can barely open her eyes...

It was so ill-fitted I can't even look at it in pictures, odd bulks (esp in the back) like they didn't have enough time to get her measurements.. the color also washes her out, not to mentioned the design itself, gloves, makeup and hair is such a "first lady" cartoon (like they both are, I guess). I don't want to be super mean because.. she's kind of a trophy wife/model/escort/whatever caught up in peculiar circumstances but you can tell grace, elegance and class hardly come down to money.. obscure concepts too anyway. She does look like a good mother, for what it's worth...

it's called- off the rack...
you don't think that anyone at Ralph Lauren AKA Lipshitz is fitting her for anything, do you?

come on! we know that the entire fashion industry was in washington this weekend...but NOT cause they were going to the inauguration...

:wink::P:D

honestly- i didn't think of that...
i hope she was...what a horrible thing to have to deal with...
regardless of who you are...
:(

Melania wearing a pink Dior dress for the Red Cross Ball 2017.
Red dress : unknown. Arriving @ Palm Beach.

Her style is very simple & chic if slightly plain.
But I think she always looks polished.
When she lets her guard down she looks great - but I like natural beauty.

The red outfit is a Givenchy dress, Louboutin flats, a Chanel bag and Gucci sunglasses.

It's interesting that she is wearing all-European designers merely two weeks after the inauguration. Makes me think that she was pressured into wearing American that day and that clearly doesn't do it for her.

Two great looks. I love the fact that she wears a lot of color, and she is not afraid of wearing flats.

Nothing about this chick is natural...
not her boobs, not her hair, not her face...
nothing...

plastic...plastic...plastic...

Simple and chic and elegant and sophisticated. Every single look from her first trip as a First Lady. Thanks for posting.

What's with all the belts? It's absolutely hideous. That, as well as the black widow getup she wore with dramatic headscarf. Mourning her freedom, perhaps?
