question: is she still the first lady if she gets separated from her husband?...

question: is she still the first lady if she gets separated from her husband?...
:ermm:...:innocent:

Probably yes, if she's only separated then yes because technically they would be married. If she divorces him, which I can't see happening, but hypothetically, she would cease to be FLOTUS.

I don't think Melania would ever consider leaving her husband. She married him after they were together for like five years. She knew the man and what she was getting into. Plus, he's the father of her son, who is most important to her. I think she's committed for the long haul, no matter what, warts and all.

Give credit where its due, Melania is chic. Props to whoever is styling her.

Thats as far a praise I can give.

That yellow coat/sweater ensemble is just :o wow. I'm not crazy about the skirt she paired it with, but the boldness of the yellow completely obscures the rest and just tells it to F off! Dang Flotus!

(I will never understand how anyone can walk in heels in grass. I'd fall flat on my face.)

I have to say, she's been dressing beautifully. If she were married to someone else, people would be talking about her style so much more.

I unashamedly admit that I love most of what she has been wearing lately. Her style went from quite dated to only slightly dated and she puts on a good show. I also love how excessive the Chanel couture dress from the state dinner last night was.

She has been looking absolutely amazing during this french visit.
Even the hat looks great on her, and I don't think it is easy to pull off.

She always looks good. I'm really glad to see that she hasn't had an work down on her face. She's said she won't do plastic surgery/fillers and I think you can tell she hasn't (I suspect she's had breast implants long ago.) She has a beautiful smile; there are studies that suggest people with smile lines around their mouth and eyes make them appear like a warm and genuine person.

Rooting for her to get out and away from Trump, hopefully in 2020

Her rejection of his hand says, "I want nothing to do with you."

Her Chanel couture says, "But I'll still take your money regardless."

Can we talk about that "I really don't care, do u?" Zara jacket? When I first saw pictures I was sure they were photoshopped but it was confirmed by her team. I just can't believe the First Lady of the United States would wear such an inappropriate thing to.. any event, let alone visiting children who were separated by their parents. Like, what is the reasoning behind this?

Someone on her team must be trolling her, they probably just had her demure outfit laid down and held the jacket on her so she didn't see the back.

I refuse to believe someone can be that ignorant and would willingly put on that coat knowing where they were going.

She wore the jacket while returning to the White House again so it was definitely intentional. I’m really not sure who it’s meant for though and whether it was a way for her to say something or she is being used to defocus the public from other issues. Donald’s opinion about it seems to be quite different from her publicist’s lol
