the US sales are soooo much more interesting than in France .....
i think i never saw a 125€ (160$) YSL oxford in a shop in France ..... maybe i don't open the eyes ....

the US economic situation has something to do with it. usually these stores do not mark their items down this high of percentage that quickly. this year, Saks Fifth Avenue had placed most of their items at 70% off almost suddenly so there was a very good selection at this discount. saks had too much inventory on hand and needed cash for for their lenders so they could purchase new Spring 09 merchandise. i guess there was somewhat a silver lining (for shoppers) to this economic downturn.

I don't know where you live but there is a collaboration between urban outfitters and generic man. And the shoes all range in price from exactly 50-70 vs. the normal 300+ generic man shoes run for. My top pick is the boat shoes. I want navy and grey. I want to get 2 pair of each. Gotta love 40% off!
