Men's Underwear

Well unplugged, i wasn't generalizing the board, i just thought it was kind of a "red-neckish" kind of comment. thats it. Don't get your totally straight and nothing to do with being gay at all boxer-breifs in a bunch. ;D

I love the maturity level!

Fruit of the Loom here..........I dont spend much money on underwear........I dont see the point.

My money goes to clothes, shoes, and bags.

Going back to the original question, for my money there's not much to rival D&G and DSquared.

D&G comes in two broad ranges, D&G for fun stuff at a good price, and Dolce & Gabbana for the more grown up stuff that's nice to be seen in.

DSquared, as Satsuma points out, is pricey but has a cleverly stitched pouch that means your best assets get emphasised AND it comes in funky styles.

www.Underu.com has the widest and cheapest selection and I don't think you can get DSquared anywhere else over the web.

I love Calvin Klein and D&G. I prefer black ones, but i have some white boxers too!

I really like that!!

i'm in love with the american apparel one , i think they are really sexy !

That's a really good point.

Its just that some people out there in marketing think by using certain kind of imagery they are catering to an elite group of people, which isn't true because everybody needs underwear(at least most of us!) and it doesn't make a difference what's on the cover for any sensible consumer. I feel that the homoerotic imagery whether its D&G or A&F is just for attention.

Grigioperla, Schiesser, Calida.

And for the record, I am gay and am also turned off by "for gays, by gays" kind of product advertising. Not because I find it disgusting or offensive in any way, but because it's just stupid. Why would a gay man be better at making underwear than a straight man?

I looove La Perla Uomo, just recently gave it my attention. It is so sexy! I love thier swimwear too.

Im not quite sure, because I see both branding. I have a feeling that either La Perla Uomo is a newer replacement line or that they're changing the name to La Perla Uomo (the website says La Perla Uomo but some of the garments in-store say GrigioPerla)...

I wear calvin klein, and all of them are black. So im fcked if im wearing white pants cause it will all show. I dont do American Apparel, I refuse to, those things cut off circulation, like nobody's business.

I LIVE for the CK microfiber line.

Renoma, Calvin Klein and Hom...
But underwears aren't accessories, it's a man's essential ... duh!

funny cause i'll spend nice dough on everything except undergarments.
i'll just buy whatever.

I'm in the same boat. It really is one area I don't pay much attention to in men's clothes. Saying that, outside of underwear for excercising, I normally just stick with Jockey briefs. :innocent:

I'm going to get some more CK and American Apperal. I love both so much.
