Just watching that clip with James Debarge is just really heartbreaking. Of course I am glad that Michael was able to 'talk' him out of taking his own life but its sad to see how much suffering is still there.

I watched some time ago the TV One show Unsung about the DeBarge family and if it wasn't already clear why Janet & James had a love affair, the show spotlighted the similarities in both families.

Both having fathers who ruled with fear more so than respect and docile mothers. Of course the Jackson's were physically and mentally abused whereas the DeBarges were that as well as being sexually abused by their own father. *smh*

On a positive note, I love that gif of Janet & Michael. The whole idea behind the 'Pervert 2' shirt was such a statement.

i don't think i'll ever tire of looking at the Dangerous cover, it's incredible!

i love posting photos, i have so many but it's a matter of finding time to organize them (i'm always finding stuff i don't remember saving on my laptop) and posting

whenever people ask me what my favorite MJ song is, a lot of times i just go with Dirty Diana because you can't go wrong. it has it's own playlist on my iTunes because i have so many different versions of it! i've been listening to the Dirty Diana (Ashley J dubstep) a lot lately (i posted it before) and here's another that i like :

in my Juvenile Delinquency class we had two guest speakers who were former gang members and now they work for the P.D. as mentors to at-risk kids. one of them named J* was talking about how sometimes kids would get so close to them (in terms of trust) that the kids would reveal their crimes to them. according to their mandate, they'd have to report it. the other speaker R*, who was f'n hilarious said, "be like Michael Jackson--may he rest in peace--but KEEP IT IN THE CLOSET!"
