I prefer the sharan bala one. Felt she captured a bit more of the MJ vibe (which I think would be really difficult considering MJ is an icon)

But yeah, I'll have to go with Sharan-the lighting is more interesting and the poses are more original. Agyness' just copied MJ's poses, as said before, and it looks very satirical (sort of like the BET thing they did. It also doesn't help that she looks like Samantha Ronson).

the lighting is beautiful in Russia's editorial. much more energy and emotion in it. agy's look so commercialized.

I think both tributes are very nicely done. But I agree that Sharan put a lot more emotion in her expressions/ poses etc. Also the scenery is more my cup of tea (Agy's studio-shoot is just too plain and lifeless).

i think the title of this thread is pointless. it should be a thread with all editorials of various models from different magazines, not just agyness vs. sharan.

Maybe the threadstarter only knew about these two? I think it is interesting to see the different interpretations of a tribute to MJ. I prefer the one by Sharan by miles. Much more expression and great location.
