Jun, have you bought it yet?! Lol.

I just figured the handles might hurt just from having a lot of things in the bag. No matter how soft a strap might feel, with some weight under it a thicker strap (to better distribute weight) would be more comfortable than a thinner one. Anyway, it doesn't look as over-stuffable as the Astor satchel.. I'm dying to know too though where that wee charm is! :shock:
 
haven't bought it yet, but im planning to. macys is selling it as well online. I'm hoping maybe my local macys will start carrying MK because they're doing an overhaul on their accessories dept, and started carrying kenneth cole and MbyMJ glasses....fingers crossed!

i've been working on slimming down the amount of crap i always carry with me and it's been really good for my neck. my LV tango fits just my cell, wallet, a few lipsticks/chapsticks and a checkbook and ipod. really all i need and it's been good dicipline to not put my whole room in a bag and carry it around all day with me! LOL

Im determined to get this bag though. the luggage leather is amazing and i LOVE this new shape!!!!!!

i'll keep y'all posted. i got a cold, so maybe by the end of the week i'll go in and see what they have...otherwise, it's good ole mail order for me...
 
A friend of mine is lookng for the older Astor Overnighter and in unable to find one ANYWHERE. i have the black one and I adore it...where might she be able to check besides Ebay and all the online stores? Any hidden gems out there?

No! :( Not the 2006 version. they only have the new shapes.

I've started to see the odd overnighter crop up on ebay from time to time. Before I found mine, I'd been looking daily and hadn't seen one in months. Now they're there, if still very infrequently.

I'm dying for a black overnighter, but with the brass studs. Not sure if he even made them. *sigh* :(
 
angela is right. he re-issued it and they just started selling it again. it's $450 on michaelkors.com and you may be able to get it through nordstroms.com.....im not sure. but it's definately available on MK.com :flower:
