Miu Miu F/W 06 bags - Coffer et al

i like the suede version.. but i don't know if i like it enough to shell out the $1300 or so it costs.. i wish i were more excited about the f/w bags..

I saw the coffer tonight in brown leather at NM and it's a great shape, super leather & love the braided handle but... the shoulder strap is way long on all the Miu Miu styles, I'm 5'9" & the bags hit me mid thigh... the coffer's strap was a little shorter than the two other styles I saw but is at least 6" too long. One other problem was the two front pockets were easy to unsnap but quite difficult to snap shut. It was very pretty but I'm not sure I'd buy it.

its a great bag...but the price is totally uncalled for...miu miu bags this season for 1400, miu miu dresses this season for 4000. its bogus, how can they justify jumps in price like that from last season?

I personally love miu miu and this bag is really nicely made. but the price is still unjustified. I really dont look at the brand as a diffusion line (anymore)...it really had evolved into its own thing and it is higher end/qualilty than m by mj. but either way...I cant say I have paid retail for the miu miu that I do have.

it was 990 euros. This is my first miu miu bag, most of my bags would be high end designer, but the workmenship is gorge! so is the leather! I think its well worth it..waay better than the muse that is such an overkill here in paris, everyone and there mum and grandmother has one. WHILE i think this miu miu wont be AS popular as the muse, and the leather is buttery soft! I 'm so susprised a lot of celebs have carried it though!

Wow. YOu have a cream one? Is that color only for Europe? I have not seen the cream color in the US. I really think that this bag is beautiful. So the Muse is pretty big over there in Paris? I just can't decide on the suede or leather Miu Miu. Did you see the suede version at your shop? I can't wait to see pics of your bag!

Congratulation drel - I love this bag and a bit regret that I didn't get it in Italy because it would be way too expensive here in Australia.

But I may try to order on online. The suede looks really gorgeous now seeing your bag make me want to get one badly.

^The leather ones are USD$1445, while the suede ones are going for around USD$1200plus.

i adore this bag...i have the suede version and like it alot better than the leather. there's so much to this bag that for some reason i think the leather overwhelms it

Thanks for posting your pictures! It looks so nice. I am leaning towards the suede version. I have not seen the leather in person yet. So I am still deciding on which one is better for the bag.

thanks for the kind words! toolfan, i'm biased but i really prefer the suede in this bag - it lends a sort of vintage-y, distressed look that i think really complements the bag. in other words (now that i look back at the posts), i totally second meowmix
