Miu Miu F/W 2015.16 by Steven Meisel

Well this is a bit awkward, the Gucci campaign drops and then this comes out...! Can definitely pinpoint the Garry Winogrand references in these.

Love it. The last shot is unnecessarily gimmicky but it's lovely otherwise.

These shoots work better as an editorial Just too business I don't even know where to look at Certainly not the clothes The outfit themselves are not strong enough to outshine the background easily nor the 'models' are helping

I wish the stupid "Titles" were not there, espciecally as 3 of them are "different times" and locations and the same extras are clearly visible in the shot.

^All but one of these comments are a combination of my thoughts. Garry Winogrand, Alex prager, and Henri Cartier Bresson's street photography come to mind.
This lacks depth and focus which is surprising for Meisel and Miu Miu, as I tend to enjoy Miu Miu campaigns, maybe it will grow on me.

Also, Lineisy Montero would have looked great in this, but lets hope she booked Prada instead.

It's too busy for me

I love how cinematic they look. I just don't know if they'll pop out while browsing through a magazine. It's not fashion enough.

I Like the campaing but to much copoy style to Garry Winogrand & Alex Prager, the photos look more a editorial of italian Vogue

Way too much going on. Steven done similar shoots like this and there brilliant. But visually this comes across flat and the actress are not present enough for me. Fingers crossed for Prada.

I actually thought Linseiy was in the fourth picture, on the far right.

This is a bit busy and looks more like a Vogue Italia edit.

This is by far one of Meisels best campaigns in years. I love the over the top excess, it feels fresh. Fashion needs to stop taking itself so seriously. I have not been dissapointed with the campaigns so far. Hopefully this trend will continue! :woot:

I love it as a whole. I absolutely love the first shot, It's clean and you can really see the clothes. Most of the rest are too busy and underwhelming. On their facebook the colors are more saturated for some reason, I really hope the actual campaign is with this pale wash, it makes it more special.

These are absolutely gorgeous. So different from what we are used to seeing in campaigns these days. So breathtaking.

Love it so much!!! This looks fresh. Loving everything, it's much better than last season.
