Miu Miu F/W 2025.26 Paris

we had 20 years or more of the idea of edited voice ,we live in a new time where more things can be true at the same time and means also her being an italian woman of another generation and still explore so many different ways to say the same thing is admirable.....

few years back she said this in an interview , to be niche and intellectual and speak to just an elite group of people is easy , to do the same with a bigger wider audience is more difficult and interesting and she is interested in speaking with more people.

i want a prada and miu miu that is more messy and searching........not perfect........i want to feel not totally comfortable when i see the show .....i want to dare to try or like it or not .......... trends and influencers and store merch is already doing the editing for people to hope on.

people need to be braver and bolder to make own choices with all the options that are out there , and leave dicting/edited entities to the past i feel.
I generally agree, but there's a subtle nuance here. What makes a collection truly memorable is knowing what to cut and when to let the chaos shine. Miuccia is a master of precisely this tension. So if I criticize half-measures, it's only because I expect bolder brushstrokes from such a great talent.

Cool to see Lotta where she always dreamt to be!
She is shining!

I enjoyed Miu Miu more than Prada.
The disorder looked more under control here, whereas at Prada it was unmastered and taking over.
The Prada woman needed professional help, the Miu Miu woman just needs five minutes to smoke a cigarette and calm down. She will be fine.

Very Marc by Marc Jacobs but without the coolness and fun , terrible casting. That being said there are some very good pieces , the sh!tty casting kills the impact tbh.

I don't get why this would be considered stunt casting and styling. They've been cultivating this exact aesthetic for years—an intentional mix of high and low, polished and raw, bourgeois and rebellious. In that case they've been stunt casting ever since Sevigny showed up on the runway. The buttoned-up blazers styled with knee-high socks and undone hair, the perfectly cut coats worn off-kilter, the mix of satin, fur, and tweed is nothing we haven't seen before in their styling.
I don’t think it’s necessarily stunt casting, I think it was actually over-casted if that makes sense?

Not helped by the fact there’s just way too many looks, so they have inevitably tried to make each look a “moment” by going ham with the casting. It also adds to the visual confusion. There are nice pieces, but there’s just too much going on in all areas that it becomes really lost and convoluted. Becomes a sensory overload at first, but then the boredom sets in because it becomes extremely repetitive.
