I generally agree, but there's a subtle nuance here. What makes a collection truly memorable is knowing what to cut and when to let the chaos shine. Miuccia is a master of precisely this tension. So if I criticize half-measures, it's only because I expect bolder brushstrokes from such a great talent.we had 20 years or more of the idea of edited voice ,we live in a new time where more things can be true at the same time and means also her being an italian woman of another generation and still explore so many different ways to say the same thing is admirable.....
few years back she said this in an interview , to be niche and intellectual and speak to just an elite group of people is easy , to do the same with a bigger wider audience is more difficult and interesting and she is interested in speaking with more people.
i want a prada and miu miu that is more messy and searching........not perfect........i want to feel not totally comfortable when i see the show .....i want to dare to try or like it or not .......... trends and influencers and store merch is already doing the editing for people to hope on.
people need to be braver and bolder to make own choices with all the options that are out there , and leave dicting/edited entities to the past i feel.
