Miu Miu is a label that has consistently used hollywood stars and other celebrities for their ads so it' s no surprise that they have chosen Lindsay since she is the current 'it' girl in Hollywood.

The only thing that surprised me is that Mert&Marcus are shooting this campaign. I don' t recall them doing anything for Miu Miu/Prada before but I could be wrong . Craig McDean would have been a much better choice.

Mert&Marcus is everywhere this season (s/s)! Lindsay isn't what I pictured Miu Miu to be at all... well, I won't say anything else until the ads come out.

i think this is a pretty good fit.

looking through the holiday/spring summer miu miu book, i can see her fitting the image very well, imo.

also, some of the pictures shes done for the most recent gq are very miu miu in composition.

I think my greatest fear is that Lindsay Lohan will add too much 'sex appeal' to a Miu Miu campaign (considering the nature of the S/S07 collection I think this would be really mis-matched). She has a tendancy to do this 'open-mouth' thing that looks a little p*rno and somehow when she is wearing high-fashion in photoshoots, it looks a little 'off'. As people have said though, no point judging before the pics have even come out but it does fill me with dread slightly....

mm i think you hit the nail on the head here. i thought of miu miu's risky hemlines as playful and cute when i saw them on the catwalk but lindsay could potentially put a different spin on this making it look more fhm than harpers bazaar.

though i'm sure that prada knows what she's doing and what image she wants to portray through these ads, i reckon it won't be typical lindsay style at all - it would be fun if they completely restyled her for the shoot. i can't wait to see them it will definitely be interesting.

The choice for the company personifies the unconventional design choices they make, clothes as a Rorschach test, sexy for sexy, intellect for intellect. I also think its interesting how much she's crucified...for her sexuality, how much the idea of a styled and photoshopped idea of Lohan in overpriced clothes intimidates the hell out of our lovely members. Perhaps that was reason enough for the folks at Prada.

I find it disappointing more than anything else...I would care so much for other brands, but I like Miu Miu for being cute, edgy, but wearable and intelligent. And seriously, everytime I see that girls crotch..well, what can I say? I'm actually speechless.

Perhaps I am alone but I, for one, find Lindsay to be very beautiful, just overexposed, similar to Elizabeth Taylor in the fifties.

I'm not a fan of Lindsay. As susie_bubble already pointed out she has this sexy look and she dosn't look "relaxed"... But I'm curious how the pictures will turn out anyway!

Am I the only one who thinks the ads might not be that bad? Lindsay can look trashy, but she's no Paris Hilton and sometimes actually looks very pretty.
