Miu Miu S/S 2007 : Lindsay Lohan by Mert & Marcus

Is that really Lindsay?:blink: Hey, Photoshop! You win :p I like this ad. Because It doesn't look like her.

I knew she was going red with this one! I believe I even wrote it somewhere in the thread! Yes they photoshoped her body but the face is quite Lindsay, she's lost some weight though

i really hate it..at least make the setting nice!
lindsay doesn't suit the clothes

I have to respect the picture for what it is. It isn't boring, or overtly tacky. It pops.

I have to say I'm impressed. Alot better than expected, but I still would have preferred someone else. :/

I actually like the photo ad, even though it looks nothing like Lindsay. I'm just disappointed that instead of a model being used Miu Miu decided to be tacky and go with a celebrity.

I'm really hating photoshop. There should be some revolution in photography to make things less plastic looking. Lindsay looks nothing like herself...kind of mannequin-like, actually.

It doesn't look like Lindsay to me... anyone think it's Suvi Koponen?

"Suvi Koponen this Finnish teen with steely blonde looks has become Miucca Prada's latest muse. She opened the catwalk show (an honour previously conferred on Gemma Ward and Daria Werbowy) and is a set star in the spring/summer campaign."

i don't like this AT ALL.

they pretty much made her look like a totally different person, in which case, just USE a different person. lame.

rofl... in the beginning of this thread there's comments like "what a nightmare", "lindsay will ruin the clothes", and "...send miuccia to a mental institution" and now the majority of people really like it.

I don't hate it but I don't like it. It's way to photoshopped. The concept seems like she some doll or something......Weird!!

But people like it, and it does not look like Lindsay Lohan. They like it because it looks like someone else, can you say the effect would be the same if Lohan wasn't photoshopped into another person?

Well, that question is unanswerable, since it HAS been photoshopped a lot. It is possible that without photoshopping, the campaign still would have been well recieved. Lindsay is a good looking girl, it's not like she's Paris Hilton with a weird nose and lazy eye; it is not entirely impossible to have a decent campaign with her (unphotoshopped) in it. I was just noticing how quick everyone was to dismiss the campaign because it was Lindsay Lohan.

Anyway, who cares if they photoshopped her a lot? This is not the first time models have been overly photoshopped in campaigns. Example: Snejana in Lanvin SS06, the Roberto Cavalli campaign (Daria & Du's), Jessica Stam in Valentino SS06. Then there are all those beauty ads that have SO much photoshopping done (Daria for Lancome, Heather for Revlon) the people are barely recognizable. I think if we saw a closeup of this ad you could see her features better, and see that it is Lindsay.

The campaign reminds me of the W 'City Slickers' by Mert & Marcus, I think thats why I like it so much,...

And Im guessing there will be at least another 4+ campaigns, and they could be sunglasses or what not. Maybe thats the most photoshopped picture out of the lot we have seen..
