Model skin & body care tips / products

That's great it worked for you but it's known to be notoriously cheap and ineffective skincare for most people. So you're definitely in the minority.

I hated Clinique's line as well. It was awful after I learnt about how much alcohol I was slapping onto my skin.

I think loads of models use Dermalogica, don't they? I remember reading in Instyle's celebrity secrets or something, and loads of models use Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant, Ultracalming Cleanser and Special Cleansing Gel...

I have used all the 3-steps products and find them effective except the cleanser. My skin is sensitive combination type. It really depends on how much you know, sometimes you just can't rely on the beauty advisor's advice because they tend to tell you the wrong thing and you end up using the wrong product if they are not experience enough.

Celebrity Beauty Secrets: Giselle Bündchen

Ever wonder what makes the highest-paying supermodel so super? Well, Giselle Bündchen, the Brazilian bombshell, has recently spilled a couple of her beauty secrets….
  • On how long it takes her to get ready in the morning: “I wash my face, moisturize with an SPF cream, and then finish with a little mascara, blush and lip balm. That’s my everyday look.”
  • On her hair: “Here’s a little styling secret: At night I dry the roots and go to sleep with my hair in a damp bun. By the time I wake up, it has a nice soft wave. I smooth silicone serum on the ends to add shine, and I use Kérastase’s Green line—it keeps my hair healthy.”
  • On her workout routine: “I stay active with outdoor sports like surfing and volleyball. Growing up in Brazil, I wanted to be a professional volleyball player, but I’m very lucky to have had success with modeling.”
  • On her favorite Max Factor product, which she is the new face of: “I’m obsessed with the new 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper. I have light lashes, so putting on a dark mascara makes my whole face look more awake.”

^they forgot to add Nelson's Acne Gel. She has said she uses it because it helps her clear up whenever she gets pimples.

I have Cle De Peau La Creme. It is nice I suppose. But not worth the money unless you have Gisele's type of bank accounts. You can get a better and deeper hydrating cream for half the price, it's at least $500US

Ubah Hassan's beauty secrets

What are your beauty secrets?
I eat almonds, and I drink lots and lots of water. I use Egyptian Magic, a body cream from Whole Foods - Valentina (Zelyaeva) told me about that.

No it was a gift.

But if I wanted to steal it, I was just at their counter the other day and there was a brand new never even used jar out to sample. I could have easily taken it but I dont need bad karma. Or to be arrested.

goodness if i've ever realized anything these past two years is that sunscreen is an absolute MUST! models see it too.

in the gisele post can anyone identity any of the other products in her make bag?

Hi, this is my first post! So i'm pretty sure that the item on the far right is Pond's Tinted Moisturizer (actually, now it's Dove's Tinted Moisturizer I think).

I have literally been using that product since i was thirteen years old - that's coming up to a decade now! It's the most incredible tinted moisturizer i've ever used, and it's super cheap! But I've never seen it outside Australia or New Zealand, I always have to stock up on it whenever i go to NZ or have family coming over from there, though you can probably buy it online.

Anyway, the packaging looks identical to what Giselle has in her bag (and, as i've said, i've been using this product daily for a long time now so i have a pretty good idea of what it looks like!). It's such a great product, i wouldn't be surprised if Giselle's addicted to it like i am!!!:heart::heart::heart:

does ne1 know if Nelsons Acne Gel is sold in Australia???
I have been looking fo it for a while, with no success :(

daria said once in a magazine interview that her grandmother who face is almost flawless, that her grandma rub fresh lemon on her face.

Really? I would think that would do more harm than good?
