Models: my first response in The Fashion Spot forum

This is my first response, I'm new in this forum but I promise I'll do it my best. I like so much the way they wear... they are my inspiration, I try to take their ideas and adapt them to my own style.. and body!

I totally agree about the "generic-model-clothes" that (almost) every girl seems to be wearing. But when I think about it....these are pretty much the things I'm wearing too (except the price is different ). Just as many many other's. So, why should model's make an expection in this? After all they're "normal girls" too and this is just how they dress. I agree that girls like Iekeline are always refreshing to look at & I really her for wearing special things that are actually outstanding. It would be great to see more people dressing like this! But I mean that in general, not only models. So for me, it's always nice to see what all these girls are wearing - even if it's quite repetitive & a "typical model uniform"

Oh I agree! I'm not saying they need to be different. I think they look best in the simplest of things especially since they are already stunning girls with (subjectively) enviable bodies. And yeah, those basics are a lot of times the same things I wear too , which isn't surprising, especially since I often come into this thread for inspiration. Having some step outside the box is refreshing when it works. Some do it subtly and tastefully too which is good, but some just don't know how to.

It's funny, of the models who go WAY outside the box, I think it works for Iekeline somehow but not for Agyness. I don't know why but on Iekeline I think crazy things look natural and she'd be almost awkward in "the model uniform" but Aggy always looks so contrived and I feel embarrassed for her.
