Models Who Are Related to Rich/Famous People

Well since Vogue uses the same strategy to hire their employees, I can't say I'm surprised.

I actually have faith that the industry will not bite on most of those trainwrecks.

Did anyone else roll their eyes real hard when looking at vogue.com's list of 9 rising models to watch in 2015? http://www.vogue.com/slideshow/6878291/models-to-watch-2015-hailey-baldwin-bella-hadid/ Why exactly am I supposed to care about Stephen Baldwin's daughter, Gigi Hadid's and Edie Campbell's sisters and some former baseball player's bland kid? If there is one model/fashion trend I want to end in 2015, it's this one.

Yes please, let it end. I keep thinking about how it was a couple of years ago when models where just models:lol:

You can add Romy Byrne to this thread. Father is Gabriel Byrne, mother is Ellen Barkin. Was with Next, now with Ford in NYC.

I still think Georgia May Jagger would have been scouted or her polaroids accepted at an agency even if it weren't for her famous family. Granted, she probably wouldn't be as successful. Like she's the child of a model.. there's some spark there.

Yeah, this I strongly agree on. Her face is incredible!
Her height is a problem, I don't think she would have booked versace runway show because of it, but I think she still would have gotten a lot of print work:crush:

Georgia might be beautiful, but she's a terrible model... not even because of her height, but rather her complete lack of versatility, she always looks exactly the same in every editorial.

WILL THE 'CELEBRITY' MODEL TREND CONTINUE IN 2015?
"You should probably get used to seeing more and more famous last names on comp cards and casting lists in the year ahead."
"Answer: Yes."

Something that crossed my mind the last time I visited this thread, but I wonder why there are not more non-white celeb-models. If there were, would they be as embraced by the industry or supported by fans as their white counterparts?

Aside from Kenya Kinski Jones (who to me is clearly bi-racial but to others it may not be as apparent), I think that Eddie Murphy's daughters may be the only MOC of recent times even mentioned in this thread. No clue if they are signed to major agencies, but I can't imagine that we'd ever see them on a Chanel runway or in Love magazine even if they were strictly fashion models.

It seems that Devon Aoki is the only celebutante + visible minority who got far in her career.

It's a pity she doesn't model much anymore. She's a better model than almost every name mentioned in this thread.

I feel like there aren't that many celebrities and rich people of color, so there aren't as many nepotism models of color. I do think it would be harder for them to get a model job than white nepotism models even though they're related to someone famous

Totally. If she didn't look the same in every photo/ video, people might look more at her beautiful face rather than her lack of height and connections

^How? As far as I know she comes from a very normal American background.
