Most Overpriced Designer? #1

I would say Dior is the most overpriced. But I wouldn't even say overpriced, just expensive.. Because you are buying a quality product.

Vuitton definitely.

Many other designer stuff is just as expensive or even more but the mere sight of the LV monogram makes me sick and i have never seen anything as gross looking and tacky as the last LV bags collections... yuck!:(

The only reason why Louis Vuitton have the monogram is to generate more sales. Louis Vuitton had nothing to do with fashion in the first place, it was just luxury leather luggage. Now it's just something you buy to show off with.

^^agreed about lucien pellat. it's beautifully made, but $2300 for a cashmere sweater is bananas.

but at least they have good quality!!!:-P

Well I just checked them out. THey look like "skater" clothes mostly, and I can't see why any of it would be more than mall price range-

Except of course the diamond encrusted marijuana belt bucke!:blink: :lol:

I mean who wouldn't want to spend some big bucks on that?

dior accessories- theyre not good quaility
costume national- the lower one the CNC<--material is sh*t and so is quaility

i think DOlce is qorth the price, theyre stuff are nicely made so is matieral, chanel is worth the price too

remember dolce&gabbane has &, D&G, and Dolce and gabbana!

Not all of them has good quality...
some are even made by illegal chinese immigrant in italy!

If you ask me, Louis Vuitton has some nice looking bags. Those brown monogram ones are so popular (generally) because the middle class likes others to know what brands they wear, which is easy with such a well known bag. LV shouldn't be entirely blamed for this, imo.

I saw some of those Longchamp bags - you know, the ones all those girls take to uni.
The bag looks like it is made from some sort of material like those Prada sports bags that were big in the 90's with leather handles.
Anyway the bag itself is not even that big and they are asking $250 Australian for it! I thought this was ridiculous considerring you can get these kind of bags (the material type anyway) free with magazines or very cheaply anyway!

I don't know how you could justify spending that much on such crappy quality... and they do not look strong enough to carry uni text books either!

The Longchamp bags retail for like 200 dollars at regular stores but they sell them for like 60 dollars now at outlets... I guess the "trend" is fading out. lol.

As sad as it may be, the huge overpricing of these labels is half the reason why they appeal to us. The fact that they're so expensive makes them more exciting. If they were priced like normal clothes, then most of us wouldn't care about designer clothing anymore.

Zegna,definitely..i can't figure out how people pay over 6000$ for a suit..and it's not super quality..
and Prada..my poor t-shirt looks like crap after washing 3 times..

overprized designer... hmmm... definetly YY!!
others... i don't think they are overprized
--> chanel is highest quality
--> prada is innovation
-->the rest might seem overprized just becuase THAT 300$ tshirt certainly is the one that will give you the snobbish and unique feeling of wearing something that really few can.

not against of overprized items at all... since none of us NEED to wear 17405672$ outfits to look good, right?...or wait! do we? :S

The last jean wich I bought was about 7 dollars and It was
several months ago and I still wear it

Calvin Klein, M.Kors - booooring and overpriced.

not really designers imo (just a fad) - sass n bide. low quality stuff.
