Seriously! Am I missing something because last time I checked, the MTV awards were quite a big date in the awards calendar. The big stars would show up and send themselves up for the kids. And huge stars would present?

Oh me too!! These awards used to be so huge and so much fun to watch! What in the world happened? Tonight, the red carpet was full of Disney kids.

Anyways, the girl in the Pucci dress/ CL shoes looks cute, Amanda Bynes & LC Conrad look great as well. As some have said earlier, there are a ton of LBD's going on tonight! Where's the color and fun dresses?

I really thought that VB would wear something great...that dress looks like it could be from her Spice Girl days!

I sorta like Sarah Silverman. She can be funny at times. The Paris Hilton jokes are hilarious, but kinda mean since she's there

I am viewing now - unfortunately no images to show yet, but I'm stunned that Sarah Silverman is going with short and sexy styles. Female comedians are usually typecast as this dowdy tomboy. I keep seeing everyone's legs, I though I was going to see a money shot from the length of Cameron Diaz's dress, but guess what? I love it.

ew ew ew. alba looks best in my opinion...and i have NO idea how cameron sat down in her "tube top," but you have to give the girl credit for those legs. mandy moore is beautiful, but that dress was not the best fit for her --it doesn't do anything for her. heidi looks like a trashy tramp and lauren conrad looks like she's going to prom.

Standouts (nowhere near perfection but far better than the rest) for me were Jessica Alba in that red dress and Louboutin Iowas that looked so amazing on her, Cameron Diaz for her adorably sexy polka dot minidress and rocker chic bag (how could she sit down in that dress??), and Mandy Moore for showing off some killer curves (honestly I prefer my starlets a little leaner, but I totally respect that she is comfortable with her body just the way it is). Most everyone that hit the red carpet looked cheap, plasticky, and just plain tacky...typical MTV awards show fare, though.
