^^^Haha!
I really try to be objective with these two, but they're making it so hard. At first glance, it's a noticeable improvement from their first collection-- at least the color-palette is pleasantly rich, but once the hq images are observed, it clearly remains juvenile like a student collection; the construction is sloppy and uneven with puckering and messy folds. I can only imagine what the actual garments are like on customers. Maybe his customers don't care about fit-- only that Gaga's a loyal clientele of theirs. There's nothing worthy of Mugler here-- there's nothing worthy of interesting fashion here. It all comes across so thoughtless.
These two are given a legendary label to water-down while a real and original talent like Olivier Theyskens has to reign in his couture-skills designing sportswear for a department store brand Theory. I can only imagine what Olivier might do for Thierry Mugler.
