Mugler S/S 2013 Paris

^^^Haha!

I really try to be objective with these two, but they're making it so hard. At first glance, it's a noticeable improvement from their first collection-- at least the color-palette is pleasantly rich, but once the hq images are observed, it clearly remains juvenile like a student collection; the construction is sloppy and uneven with puckering and messy folds. I can only imagine what the actual garments are like on customers. Maybe his customers don't care about fit-- only that Gaga's a loyal clientele of theirs. There's nothing worthy of Mugler here-- there's nothing worthy of interesting fashion here. It all comes across so thoughtless.

These two are given a legendary label to water-down while a real and original talent like Olivier Theyskens has to reign in his couture-skills designing sportswear for a department store brand Theory. I can only imagine what Olivier might do for Thierry Mugler.

I'm confused. Resort 2013 (even though not very "Mugler") was very fresh with its chic high-waisted trousers, inverted pleat knee-length skirts and desirable jackets. I thought they were progressing. It seems like less effort was put into this collection construction-wise and also conceptually. They have it in them somewhere...

yes, very hit and miss with a lot of the non-leather looks reminding me of Akris or Chalayan

Some great looking pieces, the techniques and construction are very good, but the same length and basically the same silhouette throughout are very dull.

i actually like it but it doesn't seem like nicola is really going for it. he seems to be holding back.

I would say this is everything but Mugler. And the construction is really poor comparing to what Mugler made.

Only the two light blue outfits caught my eye. But the rest...Okay, guess Gaga could still squeeze herself into them.

you know, now that it's less about 'how to hog attention via ridiculous styling', i do quite like a few looks.

this doesn't feel alright.

My thoughts as well, upon viewing the HQs. At first glance it seems like a rather lovely collection, but up close, the clothing seems rather sloppily made and unflattering. Such a shame.

This is new generation Mugler, so i dont expect or even want to see the old Mugler on the catwalk. Therefore, this collection is refreshing and more polished than previous. I like it so far

This is so boring, I would never guess it's Mugler.

I think lady Gaga doesn't approve this.:lol::lol:
