Those pictures don't work for me for some reason, but what I saw on getty looked pretty cool. Will they put her up on style.com, because I hate getty's and a lot of others' angles.

I love the first dress! Nanette is so sexy and sophisticated although her suits can be a little bit old ladyish esp some of the ones from spring 2006.

bad designers like zac posen get attention for clothes which are rip off Pilati , and here we have a designer with no power connections who has in my opinion one of the prettiest collections thus far. I love her dresses !!!!

btw I totally agree with you ^...
I won't say names but imo some brands take huge benefit from fame to do mediocre stuff... and they have a huge coverage... So many smaller designers r hidden behind, and not well covered which makes me sad, think it's a pity...

... but it might be the rule and that's weird but quite logical in a way, bigger designer may have less to prove than smaller !

That's why it's so good to have people like you who are looking out of the beaten track an' find treasures !

It's the best way to do against what I've blamed (smaller that r bad covered), doing research and show them to people who will show to other people etc ......... and it works !!

^ nanette lepore isn't high-end...

i don't think it would be a stretch to say that she is one of the most popular contemporary, mid-price range designers right now. i don't think she will get much bigger; i can't see a transition from the $300 top to the $3000 top in her future. it's just what she does. you can buy her stuff on like one thousand websites, including neiman marcus and nordstrom's.

i really like a lot of nanette lepore clothes, and then i really hate a lot of it. some of it's gorgeous and classic yet still sexy without being overdone, then some of it just looks like antique curtains.
the big problem, though, is that it just doesn't fit me right. the tops are always too short and too wide-waisted, the pants, one size is too small in the hips, the next size up is falling off, same with skirts. i think this is just a 'me' problem though, i've never heard anyone else say the same.

She has a gorgeous colour pallete. After seeing the collections on her website I think she is now my favorite designer!
