The Backstage Gala will be treated to something entirely unique and spectacular with all 200 guests seated not in the audience, but on stage at London’s inimitable
Coliseum Theatre. As they dine guests will experience a view of the theatre, and backstage otherwise reserved for the acclaimed performers who grace the stage, an opportunity rarely experienced by patrons.
This extraordinary, and intimate gala evening will see
The Royal Ballet’s principal dancers
Natalia Osipova and
Edward Watson perform a never before seen piece choreographed by
Alastair Marriott, principal character artist of the Royal Ballet. And principal dancer for both Mariinsky and the American Ballet Theatre Diana Vishneva herself will take to the stage. This once in a lifetime performance will be followed by a charity auction, where money-can’t-buy lots will include a private ballet lesson for your child with Diana Vishneva, as well as a Couture lots from
Valentino.
The main purpose of the Gala is to raise funds for our
work with families raising children with special needs and for new
inclusive play facilities across Russia. Part of the funds raised on the night will also go to the Diana Vishneva’s Foundation, which supports emerging dance professionals.
