Vanity Fair 'The Hollywood Issue' 2024/2025 by Gordon von Steiner

This is all very well done. Another rather superb Hollywood cover of Vanity Fair by Gordon von Steiner. Everyone looks great, and I love the colour scheme of the cover, along with the composition and styling from George Cortina. Those portraits are from the cover story are ALL divine!

Happy to see Nicole for the fifth time on the cover of the Hollywood Issue (I think it's the record for an actress with more appearances on the cover of the Hollywood Issue and also for appearances on Vanity Fair as many as 13 covers if I'm not mistaken) the rest doesn't interest me, the group, the style is so messy (like all the covers since 2019) ..... I think back to the 2012 cover of Mario or the 2011 one of Norman and all those of Annie Leibovitz all so wonderful!!

I hate to make this kind of comment, but Nicole urgently needs to stop using Botox and fillers, her face is becoming gross and paralyzed!

The cover is ok, but the casting... Happy for Zoe!
Feels indeed awful to say, but you’re right. She looks like a character of herself and especially being an actress I just dont understand it.

Glen, Jonathan and Josh, yes Sir 😍 I like this cover, and I agree with KoV, the best one in a while, this wasn't a year to remember for VF.

Where is Mikey Madison? Crazy that Lisa (supporting role on White Lotus that hasn't even been aired) has been featured over an underexposed Oscar contender

The pictures are BEAUTIFUL - Josh O'Connor, Ncuti and Bill in particular!

The cover is too composite cut and paste for me. The sliver of Nicole's arm in the blank space behind Zendeya is very 'Layered images'

Suddenly loses the credibility by inserting a Korean pop star into the Hollywood crew. What a joke.

Zoe looks gorgeous here, like her ELLE cover. She really deserves solo covers, I don't understand she rarely has one. Also I'm learning that Billy has such a great body. Unexpected stud, because I can't separete him from the It clown. Those arms are selling me. And the last thing, echoes to everyone here, Lisa looks beautiful, but why she's there! Hahaha, must be the most random way to put someone on the cover about actors. She should have one alone or with her group for another month.

All the men look fantastic here, but Ncuti Gatwa in the green suit looks especially gorgeous. His stare into the camera is especially beautiful. I'm not sure who he is, but I'll definitely give him a follow.

That's exactly Who he is.
Just googled him. He was the teenage boy in "Sex Education" w/ Gillian Anderson? I didn't even recognize him. He's all grown & sexy now. I can't imagine a green suit would be easy to pull off any just guy, but he wears it to perfection.

This is the first time in a long time that I've been impressed w/ men in suits in a magazine. Good job all around.

Because she's mostly been in terrible flop movies.

Aside from Guardians of the Galaxy, what else has she been in that's had an impact in any way? I always think about her blackface Nina Simone movie when she pops up.

Oh, lol, I forgot she was in Avatar.

To be fair, she was the leading female role in Star Trek, Avatar, and Guardians of the Galaxy. She's the "highest-grossing actress" ever. But I don't think she was necessarily the draw for those movies. She's in a kind of weird position where I think everyone knows and recognizes her as an actress and millions of people love her work but most of them don't follow her career outside of these major franchises. I don't think she's had many roles that were awards-season players. Not sure if that was her choice or if she's typecast as an action heroine and isn't offered juicy parts. She had a hit Netflix rom-com show, too, I believe. So her new movie may be an opportunity to transform her career a bit, especially if she winds up with an Oscar nomination.
