Thanks leyla m, i think i know what you mean...like there were some CL shoes that even with the extra 20% off only had a 36% discount in total, when before the 20% already had 30% so they should have 50% in total. It might be NAP people doesn't want to give them away for that cheap i don't know....anyway all the good stuff is gone imo

actually, an ulterior 20% off means 20% off the already discounted price.. not off of the original full price (meaning you can't calculate 30% + 20%).
so if a pair of shoes was 100 euros, 30% off would make them 70 euros, and an ulterior 20% would make them 56 euros (20% off of 70, not 100).

it does just look odd to see 36% as a total discount. if i were them i would not put that % total as i just intuitively skip those items and go to anything 50% off and above

I doubt they will. You might get it off theoutnet.com in a few months at a more discounted price.

I agree I think the coat will be Outnet-bound. I would be really surprised if they knocked anything else off, 20% more came off the other day, and they've already done more further reductions than I seem to remember them doing last year.

I wrote a comically long shortlist on Wednesday of stuff I wanted to buy from NAP and half of it was actually McQueen, so I'm probably gonna get most of it now anyway. I've wanted some of his scarfs for ages, it's just been hard narrowing down which ones, and there's a lot of other stuff they added this week I love the look of.

So yeah, I think I'm gonna do a McQueen order too. I didn't do it yesterday because I wanted it to be a considered purchase, and not one just made out of sympathy.

I can't see that the brand will be discontinued, but I really hope it stays true to McQueen's style. But he was a unique character with unique style, it's gonna be difficult.

Gucci group has confirmed that it will continue with another designer at the helm. They will have some very big shoes to fill.
