New LV bag....I WANT!!!

Have you guys seen this ad in the magazines yet? Can't find it in stores yet....I WANT!!!

I don't care much for LV monogram. I am a little angered that they are basicaly taking a design synonymous with Marc Jacobs accesories (this is modeled almost completely after the venetia if you didnt know), and just splashing logos on it. It shows how corporate LVMH is, and how a designer who was once a rebel has no totally sacraficed his own values and ideas.

I guess this is not that bad...if you are a venetia shaped bag lover or collector. You should get some of MJ's, this LV version, and the Gucci bamboo versio.

very nicely put but i do agree with you about the whole LV monogram. i was never really a fan of the whole monogram thing to begin with.

when i first saw this bag, i was thinking it looked a little familiar... thank you for clearing that up.

also i couldn't agree with you more about lvmh being the corporate monster that it is, but that's business and that's life. in their world there's no time to waste on "art," "individuality," "rebellion," or "creativity." it is, as everyone knows, all about making money.
