So relevant, right?

Look out for the opener for Threeasfour.
An extremely talented young man who has been cutting and making patterns for VPL, Myself, and many others (and working for Nancy Whiskey, too). His first solo show.
It should be very, very, good.

LONDON label Preen is migrating to New York Fashion Week next season - the first time the show has ventured outside its UK heartland. "We just felt it was the right time," Justin Thornton, who founded the label with partner Thea Bregazzi in 1996, explained when he called VOGUE.COM to break the news. "We're always looking for ways to push things forward and build the label. We've been looking into doing something like this for a few seasons and suddenly, everything just fell into place. We work on gut instinct and, happy as we are in London, we're really excited about the move; it just feels right." Showing in New York will open the brand up to a bigger audience and position it on a more international stage, he added. Preen celebrated a decade on the fashion stage last year with a retrospective exhibition and, while US fans Scarlett Johansson and Kirsten Dunst will be doubtlessly be delighted by this latest development, we can't help but feel London Fashion Week won't be quite the same without the duo's typically eye-catching, bodycon creations to look forward to. Thornton consoled us with a few hints about what we can expect from Preen's debut New York show. "It will be very Preen!" he laughed. "We always work from our archives, trying to hone the look from season to season. We're looking at a mix of soft shapes and a sexy, structured silhouette." The show is scheduled for 2pm on September 6 at The Soho Grand, 310 West Broadway. (August 2 2007, AM)

Looking at the schedule , wow New York IS boring.

Still I'm looking forward to Derek Lam and Karen Walker.

Alexander Wang ?

Can the mods, put the schedule on the first page, now that we got it?

from fashionweekdaily.com

Proenza Schouler has moved their show, traditionally held in the afternoon during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, to 8 p.m. on September 7 at The Armory (Marc Jacobs’s locale), which will be followed by an exclusive VIP party...

The Wednesday to Wednesday schedule is so odd...So many shows that are mixed up...However, I am looking forward to the more comprehensive schedule for the week.

We just got the big updated calendar in the mail here at work and I freaked out :woot: I'm so excited that I'll be able to go to shows this year!

do u mind post it?...and for anyone who knows which shows produce KCD???

^^^^^^^^Wow! That is extremely cool and exciting! Looking at your profile, I see that you’re a model agent. I wonder why you go to the shows? Is it a requirement, part of work or just a privilege?

Just curious…

Well this is my first season and I think it's a little bit of both...some of the shows I'm going to go to, I'll be backstage, accompanying (sp?) our models, but others will just be for fun!

Kim Jones is supposedly going to be showing during NY fashion week - but I don't know when or where.

Personally, I am ALWAYS intrigued by Marc Jacobs, and am also interested in 3.1 Philip Lim, Michael Kors and Proenza Schouler.

I'm working on typing up a schedule from the calendar I've got, with all of the information...but it's taking FOREVER! There are ALOT of shows/presentations.
