Nicole said that??! Perhaps the names Gemma, Miranda, Catherine should ring a bell with her? As you said WS also Elyse Taylor is more visible than Nicole, and now too there are more newcomers to NY.. Pania, Abbey-Lee, Jess Gomes.. As for Alyssa, she has been around long before Nicole and the others came about. She walked pretty much every season from 2000-06 for all the majors and has had several big clothing, cosmetics, haircare and perfume contracts, including 2 Chanel cosmetics this year. B)

I don't think Nicole has had any and I've not seen her on any big-name catwalks.. it's a shame we don't see more of Nicole as she's absolutley gorgeous in editorials but she didn't really get too far at all, and certainly not far enough to be making those kinds of comments (if it is true she said them, I hope not)!

i read somewhere, that she came back to Australia because of family issues while she was getting quite high up in modelling....she was doing fantastically for a while, walking for ALL the big shows, and then BANG, she was nowhere to be seen. I hope her family problems are sorted out, and that Nicole makes a comeback because she is a CLASSIC beauty.

i've mentioned this before, but we walked past each other in Circular Quay in Sydney when she was doing Fashion Week and she is GORGEOUS. she made eye contact with me too

AUSTRALIAN supermodel Nicole Trunfio has decided to ditch runway catfights to pursue an acting career.

Her days of striking poses for designers such as Chanel and Valentino have been kicked to the kerb so she can focus on a job that doesn't bore her.

The Perth-raised beauty, who recently paid $1.7 million for a New York apartment, will make her movie debut in Two Fists, One Heart, a semi-autobiographical tale of West Australian champion boxer Rai Fazio.

"I was getting really bored with modelling, so I started acting classes and really enjoyed it," Trunfio, 21, said.

"On the set, everyone is so real, nice and humble, which is totally, totally different (from the modelling scene).

"I just feel that when you act, you have a craft, whereas with modelling I don't feel that.

"Acting is a real craft, a real talent and I find it definitely more challenging."
